24/5/2019 15:03 | Clint, I believe it is just a bit of a twitter tag line for crushing the opposition | tim3416
24/5/2019 14:57 | From Wiki and the only thing I could imagine looks a likely contender:- "Crush, the codename for NVIDIA's nForce chipset for the Athlon processor" ??? I'm probably barking up the wrong tree entirely. | clint fleecewood
24/5/2019 14:52 | He's added: Looks like they want a multi dimensional, multi entry space CA, release a PR, engage in immediate evaluation, begin scale up testing within 180 days and that E word. That's up to the boss. I have been provided with direction and targets. 6/6 deadline for draft PM proposal #Crush 2:48 PM - 24 May 2019 from Texas, USA Rogerbridge. What is CRUSH? He hashtags it twice. | clint fleecewood
24/5/2019 14:32 | OK Who’s going to be the first to put the name to the face? When the potentially largest user of graphene in the history, has been watching and asks you to meet at 0600.. there is no unpacking, no change of clothes.. you just GO! #CRUSH #WINNING #friendsinfunplaces #MakeItHappen | nemo19
24/5/2019 13:57 | Well there should have been an answer. It's not market sensitive, the investment in the equipment was made, and there must surely have been a business case for it.Neill made a big statement at the time saying it was coming early and would be commissioned within a few days. | festario
24/5/2019 13:46 | That's me asking those questions and just thanked Neill for the first answer but nothing re the 3 tonner. Perhaps that would give away too much. | pshevlin
24/5/2019 13:37 | I don't recall anything about the 3T machine. There was nothing revelatory in the Q&A (very informal), but Neill and Patrick seemed confident in the business approach they are taking. | bisho4
24/5/2019 13:31 | Ok Bish, someone tabled a question regarding the 3 tonne equipment and whether it was in constant use. Was anything said about that?It would be a good indicator of where the company accounts are heading. | festario
24/5/2019 13:26 | Hello Nemo, Think Toshiba some time back tried to scale up CVD, don't think they had any success. I can't understand why people keep 'banging on' about Nanene being expensive. You don't use it 'concentrated' you dilute it as it were 100:1 ! As somebody said you 'sprinkle' a bit on your raw material (rubber plastic or what ever) like magic pixi dust. The skill is how you 'sprinkle' and make it. Laymans terms... | laginaneil
24/5/2019 12:59 | Just now on Twitter NR: Totally different , we do cvd but it is not suitable in our opinion for Mass production in our chosen targets. @neillricketts Hi Neill. Hope you had a gd time in US. Just a ? that keeps popping up. How does our process relate in success to CVD and has anyone to your knowledge managed to produce in our quantities with that method. i.e. MIT? | nemo19
24/5/2019 12:55 | Fest, Neill answered questions received via Twitter in the video he posted in the Senate with Patrick. It wasn't a comprehensive Q&A, but NDAs and all that... | bisho4
24/5/2019 12:31 | Lunch happening Fest. Apply by twitter :) | clint fleecewood
24/5/2019 12:21 | Did anything come of that request by Neill to ask questions by Twitter? | festario
24/5/2019 11:43 | The MIT CVD process .....old stuff. Don't believe they can produce in any great quantity or we would have heard. If they have it certainly hasn't been verified. I'll ask Neill. | pshevlin
24/5/2019 11:00 | Graphite will be one winner of the EV boom Graphite is currently an essential element in the making of lithium ion batteries. Demand for battery grade natural graphite (and spherical graphite) for anodes used in batteries needed for consumer electronics and electric vehicles is rising rapidly, and will go exponential from 2022. Added to this will be graphite demand for more lightweight materials made from graphite such as carbon fiber reinforced plastic used in automobiles and manufacturing components for aircraft, as well as the steel industry. | onone2
24/5/2019 10:49 | The MIT CVD process - | serratia
24/5/2019 10:46 | nemo - we don;t want the rpice to come down! we haven't even sold any at premium prices yet! and as the world's only certified producer of few-layer graphene I would hope we can charge a very good price for a good while to come! | boilingfrog
24/5/2019 10:43 | Quite probably! Good spot . | alchemy
24/5/2019 10:40 | But possibly not margin times volume. | alchemy
24/5/2019 10:39 | Bang goes the profit margins! | philbyk14
24/5/2019 10:25 | Prof Tour is at RICE uni in Houston so Patrick will be aware. | dgduncan
24/5/2019 10:25 | I’m not a lawyer but I wonder if VRS’s China progress has been deliberately slowed down due to the timing of the IP reform laws? AIMHO etc. | lovat scout
24/5/2019 10:21 | Don't think that article has anything at all to do with us. It is discussing single layer. It looks the usual rubbish saying top quality graphene $10000 a tonne. The way the story is written you could confuse Baker's words with the authorsinaccuraciesA | luckykids
24/5/2019 10:18 | Out of the last 4000 years there have only been 400 when Chinq has not had the largest economy . Best to be there. And we will. | alchemy |
