04/2/2019 16:07 | Meanwhile at struggling funds HQ I suspect they were 'gland in hand' on some news to sell into. Tick tock, it's not a magic hat with endless shares in it. | ![]() superg1
04/2/2019 16:05 | When the some or any of the big 5 near term targets come through then the LTHs will been in "told ya so' mode. Any one of them would do but just 1 will end the scumbag games. High probability all 5 in the not too distant future imo :-) BTW that was said at GEIC and the nomad was there, although none of knew it at the time. I did wonder why the finance PR guy was present. | ![]() superg1
04/2/2019 15:54 | Very interesting mikeB. Where musk goes the rest must follow you would think? And the tech must be advancing for him to pounce - sounds like he knows his supercap onions from this 8 year old article. Aimo best ellis 'Super-Capacitors Not Batteries, Will Be Breakthrough For EVs' 8 years ago "When Tesla&rsq Super-capacitors are similar to batteries in that they both store energy. But in electric vehicles, super-capacitors would be much more efficient at storing the massive amounts of energy taken in during regenerative braking. And when the time comes to accelerate, the super-caps would be able to deliver the that large amount of energy much faster than batteries, with less energy loss. Currently, hybrid vehicles have batteries because super-caps cannot store the same amount of energy pound-for-pound. Super-capacitors require a large amount of surface area to store a large enough amount of electricity to be useful for electric cars. However, the introduction of nanotechnology could increase surface area exponentially, as recent experiments have shown. Picture infinitesimal conductive surfaces storing electrons for rapid use; no more chemical reactions requiring huge and expensive thermal management systems would be needed. Seeing how Musk creates electric cars powered exclusively by lithium-ion batteries, his comment on batteries seems a bit out of place — unless his company is at work researching the next big thing..." | ![]() ellissj

04/2/2019 15:49 | Did Neill imply 3T units by design plan keeping in mind 3 tonnes of product goes a very long way. Also with 3D printing expanding at ever greater speed , having scale up via individual container plans keeps larger operations simpler + if one goes down its not 1 10T or 20T unit bought in a one unit ? Makes repair easier and down time through breakdown reduced as the other units are still churning out ? Again, if one needs to be serviced its not too big a hit to production if you are Tunghsu or AECOM etc etc I think I read another Graphite company was also hoping to use a portable processing unit too so maybe it is a client request or fits in better ? Podcast was great, Neill sounds about to burst with excitement 😀 | robinhood69

04/2/2019 15:40 | pshevlin - well that at least is good news. so all we need now are actual, confirmed, contracts and orders - WITH NUMBERS ATTACHED!!! | ![]() club sandwich
04/2/2019 15:38 | Great poddy. Breathless and driven. Shows the opportunity in front of vrs to my mind. China, with 2 dit reps (inc peter jay i take it ?) Had a packed itinerary by sounds of it - and provinces like jinjan travelled and met the vrs delegation. could have gone into a longer trip, but couldn't with so many other ops back home to deal with - korea, japan and india. Re generally; Multiple sectors - again focusing upon 5 big targets. A team in europe last month looking at scaling up methods. Lab, med and big - in containers that can be sent out to service jv's and then larger scale than that - i imagine factories ie of a type per jinjan loi. Confirmation that vrs products meet the chinese testing authority criteria, which likely explains the massive interest out there, but also creates opportunity for realistic pricing imo. Another mou signed, building firm. Vrs engaged with big entities, firms with 150k employees. In short, well done neill and co, for graft and craft, great progress again. The management team focussed upon getting 5 target firms with orders over the line - waiting patiently here. Aimo. Dyor. Best ellis Ps met chinese and korean ambassador last week. Royalty this week i think ! | ![]() ellissj
04/2/2019 15:32 | Club...I think Neill said he wasn't reliant on one manufacturer for the machine. Also said scale up could be very quick hence 3 ton machine, operational, fits in a container. 6 Weeks to get to China. | ![]() pshevlin

04/2/2019 15:28 | and how, pray tell, will they service 'a very large contract'? 'very large' to me means 10s or 100s of tonnes - they can currently produce 3T per annum, with STILL no sign of how they will service larger amounts. They will either need to nail that exclusivity deal with the machine manufacturer (STILL no sign of that happening) or find alternative methods of producing graphene of the same quality - and there's no firm sign of that either. I'll say one thing for Ricketts - he's great at mushroom management... | ![]() club sandwich
04/2/2019 15:28 | MJ10, that is the beauty of this company, you can never bank on a deal not being imminent, anyone who does is missing the point and hopefully will miss out on the rewards. Sorry but no sympathy left, Neill has held our hands for long enough, time to grow up and put our money where our mouth is (and keep it there!). | ![]() woodpeckers
04/2/2019 15:24 | thatkieran: re your: In that podcast I think he is saying (at 10min45sec) that they are currently in the process of negotiating contracts. I take that to mean testing is complete and orders are due soon. I also thought exactly the same! Also, a team at the nanene machine manufacturers - they wouldn't be there for no reason ;0) and VRS at the stage where they have designed a production line that can be shipped complete. Seems to me they are getting close to at least one sizeable contract / order. Best wishes - Mike | ![]() spike_1 |
