28/11/2018 15:38 | Investor's Day (my first and last, I won't bother going again), March 28th - *exactly* eight months ago today: ISO "imminent", "very very close" (wording confirmed by multiple eyewitnesses) No it isn't - 8 months later and still so sign of it. "We could start producing in China this afternoon if we wanted to" No you couldn't - you need government approval, licenses and sign-off. Expectations Management 101 - don't shoot your mouth off unless you're absolutely sure you can deliver on it. | club sandwich
28/11/2018 15:33 | magic beans "And please stop calling him "Ricketts" it's extremely disrespectful." yeah. it's meant to be. unlike some CEOs, I know how language works and choose my words carefully. | club sandwich
28/11/2018 15:31 | club, I think you'll find most people on here just want neill to crack on and do the job - it will take as long as it takes. sorry but there will be no quick take-over. | nellyb
28/11/2018 15:25 | Club, you couldn't be more wrong. Neill has told you many times the process that they need to go through to get from collaboration to order, and it takes as long as it takes to get the right deal in place. Rushing a deal through just to appease impatient investors is the last thing we want. And please stop calling him "Ricketts" it's extremely disrespectful. | magic beans
28/11/2018 15:24 | I asked what you would say, and you might think a few hundred !!!So a lot more than 30 ish, I rest my case and statement .... ffs Time to realise or leave for some it seems ...! | squire007
28/11/2018 15:19 | Would be if the spread was tight | 1teepee
28/11/2018 15:12 | Jumping on the Stones bandwagon, 'Paint it Black' has a graphinks feel to it... | richgrumpa
28/11/2018 15:09 | If recent blue days are anything to go by, tomorrow we'll be down by the same amount gained today and then some. VRS is a traders dream at the moment. | potsol
28/11/2018 15:02 | Yes, Fuji, but why today? There's something out there. Elliss, are you on duty? LA Times is blocked from Europe - anyone using a VPN? | axotyl
28/11/2018 15:00 | axotyl - Great to see some interest in VRS from the US. | fuji99
28/11/2018 14:53 | rogerbridge. Couldn't agree more. We've waited for many years to get to this stage, and the thought of the company being taken out before we even start to see the potential is truly horrifying. | magic beans
28/11/2018 14:52 | Obviously David Kerr and Neill would disagree. Club's right though. It's much easier to get a company to take a bit of test material and at some point do some trials than actually buy it. This is especially true if your graphene is 1000x as expensive compared to the competition. Worth noting that FGR took 5 months to get their graphene mining bucket project off the ground and they have just taken a 2T order. Some VRS collaborations span back 3 years and there has been no material orders. ----------------- Club - "getting collabs is the easy bit" I think David Kerr and Neill would both vehemently disagree with you lol. Some of those collabs took two years to get a signed agreement. | loglorry1
28/11/2018 14:49 | Interesting stats on this specific ADVFN board: in the last 4 hours 3 times the normal 24hr visitor activity; all the usual - UK, Netherlands, France, Czech Republic, Oz and New Zealand, but a flood from the US (which is normally zero) - 46 unique visitors. Will search US press and report. Edit Wall St Journal: Invest in Graphene Before Market Triples NEW REPORT: "The World's Next Rare Earth Metal: Graphene" (dated today, but seen it before, and looks like paid content) NY Times: "A sheet of graphene stretched over a coffee cup could support the weight of a truck bearing down on a pencil point. Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov."...old stuff Washington Post: Spacecraft, Branson, light bulbs...all old....Prince William and Catherine (?) for some reason. LA Times: "Unfortunately, our website is currently unavailable in most European countries. We are engaged on the issue and committed to looking at options that support our full range of digital offerings to the EU market. We continue to identify technical compliance solutions that will provide all readers with our award-winning journalism". Something's up; I subscribe and can''t access. | axotyl
28/11/2018 14:48 | tini5 I don't know what Tim's penchant is. I don't read his de-ramping rubbish and wish others wouldn't too or at least wouldn't comment about him on here. My gripe with Squire is that he posts the same kind of unfounded statement but in a positive ramping way. He is the mirror image and his statements are misleading. If he says he's heard something he should say where he heard it or accept that people may feel he's just making it up. Newcomers to the board may read his posts and think this is just a pump and dump share. There is some wonderful information on this BB, just let's please keep it factual. | sandbag
28/11/2018 14:43 | Just use the filter tini5, it's so much calmer, you just scroll past all that stuff (which, let's face it, isn't worth reading, never mind responding to). | scottishfield
28/11/2018 14:41 | fuji, easier said than done when you have others around you who just want to cash it in and spend it!! | senden11
28/11/2018 14:41 | Club, excellent choice of Stones song. | realcooltrader
28/11/2018 14:36 | senden - To avoid feeling greedy, just buy, hold and relax. | fuji99 |
