07/11/2018 21:10 | Amazing !! Yesterday after the update everyone was doom and gloom Neil should do this snd that ,blah blah And today he’s a hero . Fickle or what ! | ![]() kemorkid
07/11/2018 21:10 | Pot kettle given you once had to apologise to me for comments you made about us ! The only man I hero worship is the one i married 34 years ago . I respect Mr Ricketts for his business acumen which is why out of respect I only ever refer to him as our CEO. | hattie1
07/11/2018 21:08 | I don’t see it as hero worship, just appreciation/admirat A rare commodity. | ![]() tini5
07/11/2018 21:05 | Hattie, I'm very pleased for him, but what was the excuse for the bad language and idiotic comments earlier? No use to anyone really.Any comments from me which you may have considered negative, were actually entirely valid questions based on the shelf life, integrity or transportation of Graphene, or the potential difficulty around Nanene IP in China, (which Mr Ricketts originally dismissed) No one was able to answer my points so I eventually gave up on some of them, and Mr Ricketts was able to answer others satisfactorily.I'm very pleased with the paper profits on my my investment, less so than a month ago obviously, but I haven't sold, I've added to a small degree.I purposely didn't attend the Investor Day, and the Golf Day and AGM clashed with my holidays. In that way I believe it leaves me more detached and less inclined to the Hero Worship that some of you display. It's my view that Mr Ricketts wouldn't want that at all. | ![]() festario
07/11/2018 20:55 | Hear, hear, hattie. As the days go by it is becoming easier and easier to see who the real lths and supporters of the company are.... | ![]() woodpeckers
07/11/2018 20:36 | The reason for ratpat999 posting as he did was to push loglorrys posts to the bottom of the page so newbies wouldn’t see them as the first posts on the board , unlike others including yourself he has never needed to post negatively and is a steadfast supporter of the company and the CEO | hattie1

07/11/2018 19:58 | The Tunghsu Group is huge and includes 3 listed entities. One of those listed entities, Tunghsu Optoelectronics, is the company that Versarien has signed the MOU with. Tunghsu Optoelectronics is very large in its own right. This is an English version of the Q3 results that were recently announced: Some highlights *Gross assets of the company were RMB 67 billion (GBP 7.4bn) *Revenue for the 9 months was RMB 17.2 billion (GBP 1.9bn) *Net profit for the 9 months was RMB 1.3 billion (GBP 144mn) A very large organisation! Also great to see that it was Lipeng Wang, the Chairman and CEO that gave the quote in the RNS. | ![]() mcfly79
07/11/2018 19:45 | THE NEXT BIG THING IN MOBILES IS...foldable phone screens, with Samsung at forefront. Apple will no doubt not be the first, but will perfect it and ship them in the hundreds of millions. Wonder if Graphene will be useful for this new LCD tech 🤔😉 | ![]() tomduck

07/11/2018 19:14 | @sandbag oh come on I'm really very harmless. How about this for a simple question. Why is Nanene only 45m2/g in specific surface area where xGnP is 800m2 per gram? We know aspect ratio is very important for some applications and surface area per gram is a proxy for aspect ratio. If Nanene is so much better why is this value so low? We know Neill reads this board maybe he can put up a blog post and explain that to us all. | ![]() loglorry1
07/11/2018 19:08 | Seems like Tunghsu are pretty happy to enter into a collaboration type agreement to see what they can learn. Here's another one. In this case they signed a "Strategic Framework Agreement". Sounds a bit better than an MoU but I guess equally vaugue. Tunghsu Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd and ICN2 has reached cooperation on Graphene On April 20, the Chinese delegate visit Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2)in Spain which organized by China Innovation Alliance of Graphene Industry (CGIA), and on this visit, Tunghsu Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd has signed an Strategic Framework Agreement with ICN2, which means they will cooperate together on the commercial conversion of Graphene application and technology achievements. The Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology(ICN2) is an non-profit international research organization,as well as a top European nanoscience and nanotechnology research center, which is the Top 20 of all the Spanish institute in EU Seventh Framework program. Tunghsu Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd and ICN2 agreed to jointly set up a Graphene Research and Application Center(GRACE) in Barcelona, Spain, thus to make graphene applications and technologes achievements on optoelectronics, bio-sensors, semiconductors, energy storage, thermal management, graphene inks, manufacturing equipment and other areas under development transformed to full commercialization. | ![]() loglorry1 |
