10/9/2018 22:36 | Could it simply be that the seller has run out of stock. That now the private investors are in control with a very low float of stock. Regardless, I look forward to 07:00, every working day. Makes every day a good day. | ![]() diversification
10/9/2018 22:36 | One more for the AGM crowd...I live within staggering distance of the 'set and am up for any pre and post AGM meets. Or meeting any other local investors for swift half and a chat. CS | ![]() cotswoldsparky
10/9/2018 22:32 | Senden, well it was worth my time then :) I have done those journeys too many times myself in the past | ![]() bootie64
10/9/2018 22:29 | ... of course, the rocketing share price also helped! | ![]() senden11
10/9/2018 22:25 | Love it bootie - at the end of a long day, with the vagaries of London transport in play, this made me smile - thanks! | ![]() senden11
10/9/2018 22:24 | Worth a re-post. On the day Matt was seconded, NIC charts predicted 181p. share price was in the 60's back then CS | ![]() cotswoldsparky
10/9/2018 22:21 | Thanks Lucky, Yes very good volume today - roughly 4x volume on each of the past 5 days. As Rainbow has been a good sport the past few days I have been looking for a VRS chart up to date that is a bit more cheery for the shorts brigade So here we have it... Its a reverse chart, as in topsy turvy land:) | ![]() bootie64
10/9/2018 22:00 | Good job it wasnt rugby or who knows where the share price would be today ! | ![]() hattie1
10/9/2018 21:55 | I'm not normally superstitious but is a game of golf in order before the AGM ;-0 | ![]() squire007
10/9/2018 21:53 | Spike, I am still reeling with tractor fettish laughter ... so so funny. :-) | ![]() squire007
10/9/2018 21:51 | I sympathise. I went all the way up to Caithness a few weeks ago knowing there was nae water. Thankfully there are more ways than one to have fun on a river bank | chumbo1
10/9/2018 21:49 | You are doing fine bootie, don't undersell yourself, a lot of it is spotting any underlying trends and you have done that admirably. As you know it can all change tomorrow or next week, on the positive side it could make a move for the top trend line or the negative it could head back to test the 50 day average. For the moment shorters will be hoping for the latter, but nobody really knows, it is a day by day thing. The bollinger bands and ichi are interesting and we could be in a 5, 8,/13 day move. Good volume today, if it continues tomorrow then it should continue or stall on Wednesday. All ifs, buts and maybes at the moment. | ![]() luckyorange
10/9/2018 21:47 | So does anyone have an inkling as to why the sudden movement today? 11% increase on no news is unusual, what will happen on the next positive RNS. 25% increase!!! | ![]() elbillo
10/9/2018 21:37 | No water chumbo & just a few stale fish about - unusual on lower tweed at this time of year - Wildlife & scenery fab & Steve the Ghillie Fine company & very interesting chap - could get used to the country gent lifestyle every couple of days at a couple of hundred plus per day! - VRS might just be the answer - fingers crossed.. | pcjoe
10/9/2018 21:16 | Have you set bait sg? :) | ![]() bootie64
10/9/2018 21:14 | I'm curious about the new members to the team. No idea just yet, I have been hunting. | ![]() superg1
10/9/2018 21:05 | Have you got any water pc? | chumbo1
10/9/2018 21:01 | I was expecting a pullback this morning as I viewed the 157.5 mark on Friday to be a strong resistance line but what do i know:) My mid term (months) target chartwise is 315p btw | ![]() bootie64
10/9/2018 21:00 | Lucky, I have tried a comparison but difficult to see in detail on that youtube link and I am only painting lines on a screen - i.e. not qualified :) Long term daily using similar trendlines (that I can see) | ![]() bootie64
10/9/2018 20:59 | tx 1ret but why the jump on no news today? | ![]() the patient investor
10/9/2018 20:49 | On the tweed casting the flea today & just catching up re the posts - best bits? - welsh govt/British jobs/ uk govt money - singing in the valleys soon? - or just this BB | pcjoe
10/9/2018 20:44 | sandbag - I worry about you. Tractor fetishes are - overall - probably not a good thing (just so you know). Personally - I'm into calendars - but that's for another day. I have to ask, and it's none of my business, but do you have a very large bedroom on the ground floor. Oh, and a convenient driveway. Re room size for the AGM - best get there a bit early, and you'll be just fine for seating. As for tractors, I'm afraid that is beyond my pay grade. However, since you will be there the night before you may be able to order a cement mixer on room service, or even a small digger if cash isn't a problem (BTW - they do only take cash - trust me) Best wishes - Spike Edit: Hoverfly man: and as for cherry pickers - how can you plumb those depths of depravity? I'm serious - is there a handy website address? | ![]() spike_1
10/9/2018 20:38 | Bye the way to buy my cherry picker I haven’t sold any VRS, I keep some cash for rainy days and celebrations. During share price behaviour you don’t quite understand I recommend John Coltrane’s orgasmic Love Supreme which conveys the joy of things not moving in straight lines :) | hoverflyman |
