10/9/2018 13:59 | Hi guys, Been looking at our latest 'recruit' here is a post from him on the BB of IQE which as he says, he has just bailed out from. His investing style may not be one we would use, but he seems by no means clueless: crunk post mid July Cheers - Spike | ![]() spike_1
10/9/2018 13:59 | grabster, You're correct......board meeting, and then Wales! I stand corrected, but also ecstatically happy at £1.70(edit: even happier at current £1.78!) How am I going to feel when hit £17? TFC | the fat controller
10/9/2018 13:56 | Aha well that's where I was guessing he may be going. | ![]() superg1
10/9/2018 13:56 | In any case I think the bigger moves will come on the back of the type of news some here crave over and above collaborations. I've looked at Blue prism. First of all very exciting tech, it flew and it went flying past PHE with nowhere near the revenue and profits. The key to the continued climb of PRSM seems to be the exciting tech starting to translate rapidly into orders and material interest. That is the phase I believe VRS are about to enter in the coming months. I repeat that is the phase I think VRS are going into in the coming months. As posted recently trades in PRSM by value (in an example of a recent week) means 68 mins of trading on PRSM = 1 week of trading on VRS. That shows the massive difference in investor attraction OR probably more accurately investor awareness of certain stocks like PRSM. Very few will have heard of VRS. Taking that up a step not many serious investors will have heard of PRSM either. Many won't even look at anything on the AIM. Then taking the £40 mill traded on PRSM in the week I studied, that is a drop in the ocean for other shares. Yes if VRS do start to hit some material deals with £ signs attached it will start to underwrite the current circs and then start to take us onto the next level. I think they are coming and I think its going to surprise a few. NR and co have been spelling it out very clearly. It isn't hard to spot. | ![]() superg1

10/9/2018 13:52 | It's the welsh parliament building | ![]() eel tamer
10/9/2018 13:52 | Agreed scottish, but in absence of iso and while the industry waits, the next best things appear to be the US verified producer and UK certification service which in theory should carry the same weight ? If as hoped +nanene is recognised by both. Aimo. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj

10/9/2018 13:51 | Neill's just hit the headlines! Well new article today in Gloucester Punchline: | ![]() spike_1
10/9/2018 13:50 | Ha, I love the games they play at #VRSAnybody care to guess where Matt is?!Or is he with Neill in Cardiff? | ![]() andymoore07

10/9/2018 13:46 | I've no doubt that some are ISO dependant ellissj. It's the way the bigger cos work isn't it. Take no chances. So we'll see, no doubt. | ![]() scottishfield
10/9/2018 13:46 | The Crunk Re heavily shorted at £1 bill interesting that you think it will get there by year end. You declare limited research so on the short side point. For funds to heavily short a stock first of all they need the stock. A deal is done with a large holder and interest rate agreed. The stock is then put out on loan and from that pool the stock can be shorted. Eg 5 mill shares. The stock isn't usually recalled at short notice and hence the shorters have security of knowing they can hold on without fear of being forced to close. Option 2 is via the SB companies who will own out stock purchased by PIs. IG show that 15% of clients in VRS are short. We already know most if not all for them are £25 per point to £200 per point type bets. For those that don't know spread bets that's 2,500 to 20,000 shares. The trouble with that route is PIs that hold but sell may create forced closures as IG recall the stock etc and it's in the control of PIs not loaned out stock agreements. The key point being there are not the holders out there at this time to supply sufficient stock on loan to impact the SP, therefore it's futile and could cause big losses for those short if big news like China (and others ;-) ) hit. So at this time there simply isn't the stock out there held by funds for big shorts to act. | ![]() superg1
10/9/2018 13:44 | I've speculated some of those 'collabs in discussion' per rns, by defn the juicier ones, may be dependent upon acreditation, either US or UK schemes already announced. Why? Because a certified product could attract better terms and/or investments ? Makes sense to me. If so, the dam could be about to burst ? Hopeful here. Aimo. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
10/9/2018 13:43 | T/O unlikely in my opinion. I think Neill is on a mission and will want to deliver on his vision for VRS before entertaining it. Also I don’t think there’s enough free shares to mount a hostile takeover. Not unless the price is a few multiples from where it is currently to start prising them out of PI hands. | ![]() tini5
10/9/2018 13:42 | Not that I don't think grabster, Neil wouldn't be excited abt that. | ![]() scottishfield
10/9/2018 13:41 | Well timed top up for you last week Spike :-) | ![]() tini5
10/9/2018 13:41 | Like others here, I don't want to see a takeover bid accepted for this company at this time. But if a tentative preliminary approach HAS been made, might that account for this morning's board meeting? (I should add, I regard this question as hypothetical - I doubt if the scenario exists) | ![]() grabster
10/9/2018 13:39 | Doesn’t have to be a main board meeting this morning- could be one of the subs. | lovat scout
10/9/2018 13:38 | Header looks good now superg, thanks. | ![]() scottishfield
10/9/2018 13:38 | Ellis: re your: board meeting this am was inc catch up on accreditation Yes you are quite right (just re- read) my appologies. Cheers - Spike | ![]() spike_1
10/9/2018 13:37 | Phew Did a speed read. Larger chart shorted Rocket thanks for your help. JH It was 1.4 mill sold about the 15p market and flipped into PHE. | ![]() superg1
10/9/2018 13:35 | crunk, we don't know how close we are to deals, however a recent RNS did indicate the time scale for some Collab's to complete, and from that we could make some assumptions, but only assumptions. Cheers - Spike | ![]() spike_1 |
