1teepee,
The main interest of molybdenum disulfide is not that it is a lubricant (which it may be, not sure, hexotene is though), but MoS2 is a transition metal dichalcogenide (TMDC), making it a semiconductor!

"Monolayer MoS2 is a semiconductor with a direct bandgap of 1.8 eV [10]. This property of MoS2 is inspiring, which will largely compensate for the weakness of gapless graphene, thus making it possible for 2D materials to be used in the next generation of switching and optoelectronic devices. Thus far, MoS2 has achieved primary progress in the following fields, including energy conversion [14] and storage [15] and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) [16]. Additionally, MoS2 with an odd number of layers could produce oscillating piezoelectric voltage and current outputs, indicating its potential applications in powering nanodevices and stretchable electronics"
and
"emerging applications of MoS2, such as field-effect transistors (FETs), memory devices, photodetectors, solar cells, electrocatalysts for HER, and lithium-ion batteries."
(X. Li, H. Zhu, Two-dimensional MoS2: Properties, preparation, and applications, Journal of Materiomics, 2015)

Applications for 2D MoS2 and other TMDCs may be further off than graphene and hBN but they will be massive.

Sadly we are now again stuck in the biffin bridge between potential and income. Further collaborations, even though they're getting more concrete, aren't going to justify the mcap so if Miton haven't finished I think we'll be range-bound as there is only so much buying PIs can do, and funds will only buy in on profit (or calculations thereof). I'm holding on, so let's hope Neill & co do have a busy week. Go Ricketteers!

If yesterday was simply 'churn' on news (and I would agree), then that suggests there is no II selling, which there 'normally' would be on an up day with high volume.

Can we assume the II has now finished, or at least until we get significantly higher?

Best wishes - Spike
