Back to ZAP & GO

Think this probably posted before - But here`s the vision videos for ZAP & GO - Check out the filling station video for Electric vehicles - Great storage solution for "windy/sunny day" green power

The initial power re-supply to point of charge issue seems to be solved - This is via a mobile power bank that can be recharged & discharged very quickly - For example & as per video - On the back of truck delivery to filling stations etc - eg a large Super capacitor

The bit I still dont get is the car (or any other device) battery in the above example - How far along the road are Zap & Go in delivering a large capacity, fast charging ( Via Super capacitor) & safe car battery?

Are they actively developing this battery or is this battery being developed for them by their Chinese partners or others?

Fast charging will likely never work for Lithium batteries - they would explode

ZAP & GO are all about Carbon Ion tech - They have cracked the Mobile Super capacitor Cell - Where are they on the device batteries using CI tech?

They claim to have one fast chargeable battery powered device coming out on retail this year - One of these small chargeable Scootery ride things - presumably from their Chinese partners - though I can see no mention of it on their website

The device batteries are where its at re any more digging effort for me

ellis..."where the Company's partner has a global presence, with sponsorship of British, European and international top flight professional football clubs."

Neill says "we are the Company" Rather awkward semantics but that should clear things up.

Plenty on Thomas Swan, using the search field on this board, mainly Super's assessments.

#397 particularly relevant.

He's not a fan.

Edit
First glance at the article I'm sure CEO Harry Swan was quoted talking about their 10 ton/year plant; it now appears as 20.

I came across this:

"Advanced Materials and Bio-Engineering Research Centre, the Science Foundation Ireland-funded National Materials Science Research Centre, is today hosting leading international scientists at a one day gathering focused on the wonder material graphene"

This bit was quite interesting:

Harry Swan, Managing Director Thomas Swan & Co Ltd, said: “We collaborated with AMBER and its researchers for a number of years and they were a major contributor to the successful development of our 20 tons per year graphene plant in the UK."

Amongst others, Andrea Ferrari (University of Cambridge) is giving a talk on ‘Graphene – the material for future technology’

One thing we should not forget is that it can take time for hard work to bear fruit. Any product or device incorporating graphene will need proper development and testing before it is ready to for the market, and I'm in no doubt that we will be seeing products coming to the market by companies that source their graphene from VRS. In the meanwhile, big sellers and traders will no doubt have the effect of dampening the share price, even when new collaborations are announced. Overall, I think the VRS share price has held up remarkably well given the big sellers and failed attempts of the shorters.

On balance, I think VRS is in a great position and I'm happy to reiterate my hold rating as a shareholder, and remain in a state of relaxed optimism on future prospects, free from the stress of keeping hourly tabs on the ups and downs of the VRS share price Some shareholders, such as our man in Croatia, may find it helpful to detoxify their system from the constant worry of slippages in the share price by enjoying a cold drink in a sunny climate, lounging by the pool.

I conclude my brief exposition by saying that I am sanguine on the prospects for VRS shareholders.

Collaborations are just that..... two groups deciding to work together to produce something that neither can do themselves.... With 14 of these already, another is not going to shift the share price. It will help consolidate it but that's about all...

...unless something more tangible is given like Nanene being put into all Nike Football shirts both real and replica.... or Nanene being put into all Continental tyres used by Mercedes Benz.

I think NR can release another 14 collaborations and it won't have much effect.

And I'm long on VRS so not a deramper or shorter!

"There are plenty of other dud companies to fry"

Hopefully not implying that VRS is a dud company....any chance of rewording that?

The law of diminishing returns is clearly applying to the share price re RNS collaborations but strengthens the pipeline.

This does not make VRS a short, as once collaborations turn into orders the financial forecasts will arrive? Unless you feel the whole company is a fraud, which clearly it isn’t.

For me the risk reward of shorting VRS, even short term, is too dangerous given the potential upside. There are plenty of dud companies to fry. AIMHO etc.

Fest I was just thinking the same. Collaborations are not immediately share price enhancing but they are supporting the derisk notion.

The share price is now range bound, because it's in a supply and demand equilibrium, roughly. It's way too high for a company with no positive cash flow. It's way too low for a company with such stellar potential. So it is where it is. No man's land in reality.A large buyer or two rammed it up into the high 130'sA heavy seller or two dragged it into the low 120's.

Bootie, you have hit the absolute nail on the head.I would call a substantial order anything over 10kg of Nanene, or any other 2d material. On that the day of the first such order, we will add at least 20% to the share price The next one will add another 20% or so, it will be compounded.
