02/7/2018 08:55 | From the zapgo.com website: Zap&Go is backed by over 180 private investors, who have seen our potential and wish to be part of it. ZapGo Ltd is a privately held company. 02/7/2018 08:53 | This is ZAP&GO: The C-Ion cell will provide specific power characteristics between one and two orders of magnitude higher than a Li-ion cell. It is designed to be classified as non-flammable and non-hazardous for transport, allowing the product to be shipped easily and to comply with both current and future regulations. Due to the method of energy storage, the cell has fewer moving parts electrochemically and so can withstand 100,000 charge/discharge cycles. The C-Ion cell is being designed for manufacture using many of the technologies well known in Li-ion cell production. This will enable Zap&Go to quickly scale-up production and to use manufacturing capacity already in existence. This will allow new products to be made and extra functions to be added to existing products, for example: Improved energy storage allows the cell to be used as the principal method of energy storage in a far wider range of technologies than conventional supercapacitors. High specific power allows very fast charging (in seconds) through Zap&Go’s “Instant-charg High specific power enables the extension of Li-ion battery lifetimes and reduction in battery size through peak shaving in hybrid applications. Improved safety protects customers, allows easy shipping and opens up applications in hazardous areas. Long cycle life allows energy storage to be installed for the entire lifetime of the device, reducing design complexity by reducing or eliminating service intervals and saving money. | ![]() spike_1

02/7/2018 08:41 | In particular, Zap&Go are at the forefront of developing ultra fast charge carbon-ion cells that can replace slow charging lithium ion batteries in a wide variety of applications from cordless and mobile devices, to infrastructure and transport. We anticipate that the addition of our graphene to their already very innovative products will bring significant enhancements. The market potential for their technology is ENORMOUS. Certainly is In 2022, the lithium ion battery market is expected reach a value of approximately 67.7 BILLION U.S. dollars. | ![]() amt
02/7/2018 08:40 | I clued someone in on Twitter last night. He claimed to know the science of graphene, but hadn't heard of VRS. He has now. Be interesting to see whether he buys and turns up here. He thought the major app for graphene was desalination (and of course that could be massive too)... | ![]() club sandwich
02/7/2018 08:39 | pc - not sure how we can gather IP as we are providing the materials not the scientists doing the work (as far as I'm aware). However in GEIC we do have some scientific input. | ![]() spike_1
02/7/2018 08:38 | Off topic.... SuperG, I know you like bounce trades.Well, today's is PTEC ... one of the most cash rich companies on the market. 22% down after 30 mins, it will rise at least 10% from there. | ![]() festario
02/7/2018 08:37 | Shockingly exciting RNS heralding a new era that will change the world. Even more exciting is we are just at the very beginning as the applications are virtually endless. Wonderful company to be invested in! | ![]() richie32
02/7/2018 08:36 | Investors and IIs still don't seem to have a clue about this despite all the RNSs. Getting someone on the mainstream media is the next step. | ![]() pshevlin
02/7/2018 08:36 | Festario - common pattern for any stock that surges from the bell is to stall at about 8:15-20am when profit-takers cash in, fall to a low around 8:30-35am and climb again from 8:40-45am. Will that happen here? | ![]() grabster
02/7/2018 08:35 | Would be even nicer if we were gathering some kind of IP stake in the app side of some of these collaborations - the wmg batteries for instance? | ![]() pcjoe
