Don't think they've got too many options at all right now, backed into a corner. But not to worry, the directors have been well compensated for their 'efforts'.

I did think you were pulling everything together, but obviously something didn't work to plan. Maybe a takeover is the only option.

Looks like peel hunt have been left with 89 million shares out of the placing total of 111 million. With the difference been taken by private investors. So they will I assume continue to offload in the weeks & months to come.

Tom does a couple of pieces short and they all dive in long?

£20K loss per transaction, some weird thinking?

Imo there wont be a tr1. That's because the entire placing is being flushed onto the gerbils.

No you could not make it up, agreed. I am amazed that anyone is putting up 500k. We will find out who soon enough as this is now 20 percent of the company

A 40% discount to the share price is apparently a sign of confidence in the company. You really couldn't make this stuff up.

I don't like 50:50 JVs - nobody owns and takes responsibility for it, and the two partners find it hard to settle any disagreements. I see ITM Power have just ended theirs for their hydrogen refuelling subsidiary, losing £20M+ in the process.

And new-build factories in Sicily... Am I just too cynical?

Not sure how the company of functioning, their cash position is rapidly approaching zero. I imagine they are hoping for a rise on todays news before hitting the market with a substantially discounted placing.

Indeed. Also, if they are losing £1M/annum then they have £80k left as of today. They will need to raise imminently.

Less than 3 months cash left as of end of May. No indication of what they are going to do to fund this going forward. Quite a glaring omission !
