Well, JC doesn't think they are worthless, RNS out he's up to almost 11.3%, adding 3m from his last notification.Good old Rob must be whispering sweet nothings in his ear. Mind you, if I was JC I would be asking why Rob didn't mention collapse of the Brad deal.

Can't disagree with any of that as it's all there as public record.Lord Willetts should hang his head in shame presiding over this sorry excuse for a company.

have VDTK ever delivered on a single deal they've announced?
This lot have more U turns than Truss, and that is some record to beat!

Take your point ddt that VDTK's agreement was with BradClad. All the same it sure sounded exclusive. Still, it did the trick to get the funding away! From the June announcement, just prior to the funding announcement: '...exclusive supplier of lightweight solar panels to the new joint venture between its distribution partner Bradclad Group ( www.bradcladgroup.com ), the Yorkshire-based roof system manufacturer, and Protan AB ( www.protan.com ), the Norwegian-based manufacturer of PVC single ply roof membranes and the second largest, single ply roofing membrane supplier in Europe. Has anyone ever done any research on Bradclad? Looks like a very small player to me and the fact that VDTK are no longer exclusive distributors is not a major disaster. They were never partners with Protan AB in the first place and never had an exclusive agreement with them; only a word of promise from Bradclad: would be interesting to know their trading volume with Protan; I bet it’s tiny. IMO VDTK should focus on getting their certification and products right and then set up sales/distribution channels. A company with sales of barley £200k and no justifiable USB shouldn’t even be worth £4m market cap and at the same time the news today doesn’t warrant a 40pc drop in sp: market makers having another field day.

Not sure the people piling in and buying even at these levels fully understand the significance of this RNS. It's a very grim one, and there is now clearly an existential threat for the company that simply cannot find a way to generate meaningful sales for its product.

I wonder if they saw singer's post about certification and got cold feet? Some might think the account was set up - 04/10/2022 - for that very purpose.

Regardless, it's bad, and I can't see a way out for vdtk. I fear the liquidator's looming :¬(

They are not even mentioning the fact it's over a year late from when they themselves stated they expected the certification. that means they're not telling anyone about what ever the problem is. Think that's easy enough to understand.

As far as one can tell - comms are a little opaque but that's usual for VDTK - it's the Generation 1.2 panels that have the problem and haven't been cleared for sale in the Eu or other major territories. The new panel is being developed but we haven't been told of that one even being submitted for certification yet so I think they're years away from any meaningful sales. Amazing that they can get away with the spin in the interims RNS and simply leave out such a crucial bit of information on current progress, or lack of I should say.

I think the Directors have the vast majority of the shares in this company so clearly believe it will come good at some point but the last two or three wishy washy RNSs leave me to conclude meaningful sales and revenue are probably at least a year away - and that's only if they can get the Certification to sell the G1.2 panels in the UK, Italy and Aus. One for the bottom drawer.

When you say 'they're not telling anyone about' I'm not sure what you mean. This is from the interims:

'During the period under review, the certification process for Verditek's Generation 1.2 panel (60 cell panel with 340W power output) is still ongoing. This process covers testing to International Standards for temperature, fire, wind, and hail damage as well as durability under normal conditions. Successful certification should allow our panels to be sold in most countries, in the interim period we are focusing on off-grid applications and where certification is not required.

The Group is currently developing its Generation 2 panels with enhanced fire-resistance, with a target of producing the world's first lightweight semi-flexible Class-A rated fire-resistant solar panel. This will open up potential markets for solar roof-top applications in the UK, Italy and Australia.'

So I don't think what you say is literally true, however it is obvious that they're not telling the truth, the whole truth, nothing but etc.

You seem very knowledgeable about the matter - could you be more specific about which products are seeking which certifications, and which territories are involved?

VDTK have a serious problem with Certification that they're not telling anyone about. It's delayed now by over a year and it's to do with their products not being fire resistant. Means they can't sell in many territories. Game over for VDTK unless they can find a solution quickly but going by the fact the Board for the last 3 Results RNSs have just stated exactly the same thing ie Certification process is 'still ongoing' means they haven't found an answer to the problem yet.

Looks like 30KW Verditek installation in North East of England has been completed. Looks like a very neat job. Looking forward to seeing many more Proton membrane roofs with Verditek thin film panels bonded to them.https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6974023310825119744?updateEntityUrn=urn%3Ali%3Afs_feedUpdate%3A%28V2%2Curn%3Ali%3Aactivity%3A6974023310825119744%29
