Wonder what Unicorn AM make of it all with the share price 50% below the Oct CR price. They must be spitting tacks!

Can't see 4p holding for too much longer, unless there's some positive news flow. Can't sell a sausage, can they!

The only rational explanation for the complete lack of positive newsflow over the last 6 months is that due to a combination of Cov19, and potentially pricing issues, VDTK have failed to secure the orders they hoped for. As for the Paragraf JDP,the absence of an update is a concern. All the evidence suggests that competitor next gen high efficiency products such as Perovskite enabled cells produced by Oxford PV are stealing a competitive march on VDTK.I continue to think that a partnership is VDTK's best hope of success/survival. Whether the BOD concur or not is anybody's guess!

I got out a couple of weeks ago at a substantial loss, but I still believe in the product, and I intend to buy back in if/when we get some positive news. Not looking good today though.

Meijiman - they cut production at Lainate to near zero in Jan to conserve cash as they have 1MW in stock that is good to go. Suspect production in Feb/March has been minimal in the absence of orders.

Is the Italian factory making anything? If so what is happening to the product? If there are zero orders/sales then there would be little point in carrying on making panels?

End of the first quarter and not only no sales, but none of the delayed contracts from last summer have restarted. I continue to hold a few, as this will rebound on any contract news, but that cannot mask clear fundamental issues with this company who clearly are finding it extremely difficult to sell their product, in a sector that's on fire.

In all seriousness I would be surprised if VDTK don't report some sales in the next 6 months. There are too many opportunities being pursued for them all to fail. It's not impossible that we could have a re-run of what happened in 2020!

Looking on the bright side (unless they run out of cash), 2Q21 can't be any worse than 4Q20 (zero orders) and 1Q21 (zero orders)!

Chawkers, yes you are 100% correct, but Rob Richards only took control really in May and then they started to sell in June.Bit like a sandwich shop letting a few locals have sandwiches before the shop was open.I think our bread has gone a little stale though.

Dubois. Hate to quibble but VDTK was IPO'd on AIM on 10 Aug 2017 and 11 days later on 21 Aug came out with its first RNS announcing a trial contract with Media One to supply and install solar panels. Neither this nor subsequent RNS announcing 1-3MW contracts in Nigeria in 2018/19) ever resulted in sales.

As far as I am aware Rob joined VDTK as an NED in Feb 2020 initially working on a part time basis. On 14 Apr 2020 he took over as COO and then stepped up to the plate as,CEO on 7 May 2020. To date the results have been somewhat less than impressive!

Chawkers, they have only been selling (or not selling as the case may be) since June last year, not four years. RR only joined the company last May.

Still not a good result, but just trying to get the facts right.

Partnership would be a great opp imo. Surely the penny has dropped for the BOD for them to realise that after 4 years of 'going it alone' ( a strategy which has been spectacularly unsuccessful and generated zero revenues) it is time to form a strategic partnership with a cash rich conglomerate that wants to build a presence in flex solar. My money would be on an Asian ( Japanese, Korean or Taiwanese) partner but I have zero idea of whether such a partnership is in the offing or not.

I'm a great deal lighter here now, having sold half my holding.
A new concern has raised its head for me. With the mining industry being a target, how is it going to fair up against the new stand alone zero emission hydrogen engines that are being produced. Just one more thing for them to contend with. I hope I'm wrong as I still have half my holdings.

Looks like the approach of 4p yet again has bought out the 'bottom pickers' I hope of a quick trade. Each bounce seems weaker than the last, so question is will it bounce or fall into the threes?50/50 I reckon, so I don't fancy the trade. Not sure it's going to bounce without news.Bad news and it's back to 2.5p again.Wonder how the third wave of CV19 is going to affect things?Wonder if SAF deal will ever come back?I suspect not.
