As the year end is 31st December the company have to put out their final results before 30th June 2021. They put them out on 30th June last year but they could appear as soon as finalised. Hoping that things turn out well with their orders etc but sadly Italy in lockdown again.

Sadly Many a false dawn. I'm not buying one single extra share until I see proof that they can actually sell the panels and receive money for them.

The Interims were last September. When are we likely to get Final Results?

It's sue and I also believe that there is potential interest from a third party. Will be interesting to see how that plays out.

Chawkers, why don't you go away for 9 months and then come back with "I told you so post" instead.

Pointless to keep pointing out where we are now IMO.

I believe the basic problem here is the panels are just too expensive. That would explain why in a year of trying RR and 18 salesman have achieved zero sales.VDTK panels are three times the cost of conventional panels, that's just too much, imo.Sunman are winning orders, so there is a market for flexible panels, but I suspect their costs and hence selling price is a fraction of VDTK's.If the above is correct then VDTK may get the odd niche sale but will never amount to anything much.

Hate to be a doom merchant, but with zero revenues and a v weak balance sheet, VDTK are not exactly in a strong bargaining position to revive old orders or win new orders. Seems like up front payments are a real issue for some small companies who prefer to lease rather than purchase solar panels (like BTMNs). VDTK remain vulnerable to price cutting by competitors (like Sunman) to win competitive tenders.Sporadic 75kw orders from the likes of InterGroup Mining won't generate the level of cashflow they need to stave off another cash raise imo.

I would like to think he's not allowed to buy any as he's over the wall on forthcoming contract wins.

Live in hope I guess.

Seems to have gone to ground, I didn't get a reply to my enquiry from 2 weeks ago I asked about time scales as to when he thought existing suspended contracts may come back on line, never mind new business!

Has anyone had any contact with RR recently?Has he gone to ground or is he still ringing back investors?

Nothing will stop the slide other than news of a contract win. The chart is awful, a death spiral as they say in trading circles. At these levels you would think that the chairman or directors would buy some to give confidence that they have faith in the business, wouldn't you?

9 months money to get orders.

Story the same as it was yesterday.

Looks like someone's position was cut to me.

So if you believe they can win orders you can buy cheaper today, if you don't then I guess this stocks not for you.

Looking at the chart and you'd have to say 2p looks a real possibility at this rate if there is no positive newsflow in the next month or so. If this happens, I think the BOD should fall on their swords or seek a strategic partner with deep pockets to take them over. Wish I could be more optimistic, but at this stage the writing seems to be on the wall for VDTK.

Sunman appears to be doing better than VDTK but it does suggest that there is a mkt out there for flex SPVs AT THE RIGHT PRICE. The obvious differences between Sunman and VDTK are: 1) Sunman was established and is run by an industry veteran with 20 years+ experience in the solar sector. VDTK was set up by a group of ex investment bankers with limited experience of the solar sector. 2) Sunman has a JV in Australia. VDTK doesn't. 3) Sunman outsources production and focusses on sales & marketing with a large in house team. Verditek does the opposite. 4) Sunman is backed by the PRC Gvt and receives subsidies. VDTK doesn't. It is probably a fair assumption that Sunman is better capitalised than VDTK. 5) Sunman has established a brand (eArc), VDTK hasn't. 6) Sunman has sold over 50MW of flex solar panels, VDTK has sold none! Interestingly Sunman appears to be winning business in Europe and has recently appointed a distributor in Iteland.
