29/9/2020 21:14 | RogerYes, amiss of VDTK not to update the web site. Margins are normally talked of in terms of gross margins, ie ignoring overheads.I stick by the 40% comment. | astralvision
29/9/2020 20:46 | cyber - anti-dumping measures even the playing field a bit: Not sure what the situation is outside Europe - the US certainly used to have a-d legislation for solar panels, but exactly what its status is at the moment I don't know. I think there's pretty general agreement that the Chinese have been subsidising their panels and that needs to stop (be stopped! :¬)) | supernumerary
29/9/2020 20:22 | Although this should be taken with a pinch of salt as it needs updating. | rogerramjett
29/9/2020 20:20 | Its stated here. | rogerramjett
29/9/2020 20:18 | astral. I dont think we have a definitive answer. It was also stipulated that they needed sales of 6-7Mw to break even. I can only imagine that this would be in relation to Lainite and producing the full capacity. I.e the revenue from 6-7Mw would cover all the OPEX of production for 20Mw. That would leave the 13Mw as operating profit. | rogerramjett
29/9/2020 20:00 | Thought margins were more like 40% from what Paul Harrison was saying on that video. | astralvision
29/9/2020 19:34 | cyberbub. The margin of 70% will only work once they have production capacity and sales to match. I am sure you are aware of this but if they make 6-7Mw and only sell 6-7Mw the margin would effectively be 0%. But RR has it in his head to be cash flow positive in 2020 (year end) which would be a major achievement in a 6 month period from taking the CEO role. If they can achieve this by year end I would feel confident that they would sell 20Mw by June next year. Hopefully more as sales and production capacity increases. Thanks for buying in today, I am not sure it was your timing that was spot on, more the size of your purchase that triggered the move. It has been uncomfortable for a few weeks but sentiment is returning. One good deal and we really could sail past the previous high | rogerramjett
29/9/2020 17:17 | Useful yes, the Chinese have had the mass-market solar panel market cornered for years, which was why I was a bit surprised to see mention of 70% gross margins here. But I think Verditek panels seem to be have special characteristics (light basically) which set them apart.Interesting that even a modest size Chinese manufacturer has a 2.7GW production capacity... | cyberbub
29/9/2020 16:12 | Found this but no mention of Vdtk but does talk about graphene. Maybe worth a read just to get a fuller picture of what's out there. | graham10k
29/9/2020 16:05 | Looking good so far today, but still a long way to go to reach its high. | vatnabrekk

29/9/2020 13:52 | I think it was simply massively oversold and probably a short squeeze too. | 32campomar
29/9/2020 13:51 | Afternoon chaps. I've been a holder for a little while & bought because the product looks great to me. It's spiralled down on me ever since (just my luck!). Am wondering why this is jumping upwards today? Any info much appreciated. | eggy toast
29/9/2020 13:41 | I expect a bit of psychological resistance at 'round number' 10p, especially after such a (happy) rocket today. No matter, I'm quite willing to hold on to see developments over the next 6-12 months at least, as long as progress remains good. | cyberbub
29/9/2020 13:40 | Well cyberbub, it looks like you have the magic touch. Fingers crossed. | dubois
29/9/2020 13:38 | Oh I see, cheers Dubois. Yes I know of him from IOF and VRS also. Gives the impression of being very well-informed and knowledgeable about companies and industries, talks a good game but I fear he's something of a Walter Mitty character. Anyway it seems he's no longer on this thread so let's move on I agree. | cyberbub
29/9/2020 13:36 | As cyber said why give him publicity.. | birotop
29/9/2020 13:35 | I have no idea if he was invested here but I doubt it. He is certainly guilty of instigating a vendetta against Verditek by putting out false information in order to scare nervous investors into selling. He constantly put out information that would make new investors perhaps not invest. He did appear to be a very lonely sad individual that needed help. | dubois
29/9/2020 13:35 | I know who SuperG is, why have people started discussing him on this thread? | cyberbub
29/9/2020 13:33 | No need for language please, it's not big and it's not clever. | cyberbub |
