We have always said that a placing does not have to be a bad thing. Its a real shame that the virus is slowing progress in everything. That will change and VDTK are now well positioned to assist with tackling the worlds biggest problem of climate change. Things rare lining up nicely.

I was not very happy this morning when reading the RNS. I have now taken a breath and reconsidered my feeling. The fact that £3.5m was raised in 2 hours solves the companies issues around expansion and growth. It was always going to be touch and go with so little cash in the bank and chasing big deals and getting paid. Cash flow problems now solved. 2021 will be the year of growth for VDTK. I wish we were back at 19p but we are not. I dont think we would need much to get the share price back towards that level. There is clearly some confidence in the management team hence the placing was oversubscribed in 2hrs

Well, you were spot on then sn.At least scantrader was a polite chap, unlike most shorters who love to fib and tell any lie to make a bob or two.Given the markets today, it's looking a sound decision to increase the size of the raise substantially over what was originally envisaged. It sounds like the participants liked what they heard and thus the raise had strong demand.

A placing can boost a share price despite what the doomsters often say. C4xd recently had a successful and the share rose immediately. Had it not been for the fact that the FTSE fell 146 points today, I think we would have seen a rise in VDTK. Itaconix came out with brilliant figures today but could make no progress against the market fall.

The MMs seem to be falsely pushing the bid price way below 8p as we go into the close, unless there's a large delayed sell to appear.

Good news - I suppose they must feel the company is nearing an inflection point. I'm surprised an insti has come on board, many of them don't look at market caps below £50M.

It's a low discount, cyberbub, in view of the market's freaking out this week. Many investors have been getting out and not many are putting money in! I thought it might take a bit more to tempt them to take their wallets out.

Tempting to top up at very close to the placing price, isn't it? I'll look in the piggy bank.

It's only a low discount if you assume that the City insiders didn't know about it when we recently hit 12p... Still it seems to have been well supported and maybe will put a bottom in here?

Glad that's out of the way! It had to happen and they're now cashed up. Considering the state of the market that's a good result with a low discount. Time for onward and upwards with a bit of luck!

Great to see the fundraise wrapped up and £3.5m raised.


I took part in the placing. I had a meeting with the company as part of the process.


I’m very bullish on the prospects for the company.


I understand that a number of institutions were in discussions and that there was high demand generally.


It’s a significant amount of money and should allow the company to accelerate its plans.

Great result and a lot of interest. It was oversubscribed shame that was not made clear in the RNS
