A number of decent-sized delayed sells coming through - good for liquidity. I'm still expecting a 500k-ish sell at around 7.5p later - there must be one, as I bought 550k below 8p in the first 5 mins of trading. I don't usually buy or sell at the open but glad I did this time...

SuperG guilty of costing a LOT of people a LOT of money once again. He really should be thoroughly ashamed.

As I said yesterday, this was massively over sold on any technical measure, with some investors sat on the sidelines trying to time the bounce. Short covering too, i imagine.

Thanks Roger best of luck with your kids' investments too. We need to try and build them a bit of a future if we can, as things are looking bleak post-pandemic for young people :-(

At the risk of being accused of ramping, if anyone wants to take at look at EML in a completely different sector, it could be beneficial to you. For disclosure, I hold a lot there. Compelling economic case and excellent management. It's not a short term rocket, but on a 3-4 year view could be very rewarding. DYOR of course, no advice intended.Meanwhile things are looking good here. Like any spike I expect there will be a pullback at some point, but I don't generally trade and am happy to hold for some time to see how it develops. A 3-bagger seems very possible from here and possibly a lot more.GLA

truly hope that works out for you. I have JISA's for my kids. It will be a great start for them. I am sure they don't appreciate it right now but will do when they get it at 18.

Looks like your buys have started a move in the right direction. Great timing.

The biggest chunk I bought today was for my daughter's JISA. She's 13 and I hope by the time she gets her hands on the money at 18 it might, just might, be a £1M JISA... That would be a good start for her. Let's see, nothing guaranteed in the stock market that's for sure.

Looks like after the (presumably to be printed later) big sell, the share price is free to move. I may have been lucky buying first thing. Still I always think you make your own luck in life.

Good to have you onboard cyberbub,The '6-7MW' breakeven number was an old figure quoted on the website (which has been taken down I think). Under the new CEO there are new routes to market; I think the sales are more profitable and less sales are required to get to break even. I posted some thoughts in post 1984. Also the admin cash costs in H1 dropped to £0.73m and have been cut further. In the CEO report in the year end results (released on 30 June) we were told: 'In the first weeks of my tenure, I have addressed the overheads within the company to make us lean for a more fit for purpose, hence significantly reducing the monthly burn rate.' The new CEO was appointed at the start of May so we should see the full benefit of those cuts in H2. Therefore the annual admin costs should be significantly less than £1.6m

Not stupid, very astute as time will prove. I've made no secret of the fact that for me this has the best prospects and potential of any share I have held in last 30 odd years of investing.

There is no doubt that this stock has one of the best potentials I have seen in 30 years of investing.
My gut feeling counts for nothing though. It's down to the company and whether RR can produce the goods. Most on here believe he can. We have all done the figures and analysis to death, so now we can only wait and see.
Always happy to believe the next investor is far far cleverer than me. Being as you have now invested, hopefully you fall into that category and have made the correct decision.

Cheers Dubois. My first buy's been printed now. There must surely be a delayed sell to be printed as well?I had noticed VDTK earlier this year around 4p and somewhat kicked myself when I saw it hit 19p a few weeks later... 8p is still twice what I could have bought at, but no point having regrets in life.. and as Buffett says "No share is too high to buy, or too low to go."

Soley based on gut feeling and my conversation with RR, I don't think we are going to need a placing, unless it is to ramp up production. In which case I'm fine with it.

I do think there's a risk of needing another placing in the next few weeks. But if things are going well then it should be the last one, and I can't see that it would be heavily discounted below today's price. So I was happy to buy in today on balance, with a bit of powder dry.

As I'm now a shareholder I'm going to email them and ask them to keep their large shareholder page up to date - things like that annoy me, it's not the end of the world but looks sloppy on management.

Good luck cyberbub, just need nerves of steel.

A three month trading update sometime next week would go down well and hopeful calm nerves. Just need the confirmation that all is on track. Which I'm sure it is.
