EI

You little tinker!
Understand, you bought 4 tranches as they fell, so I don't blame you.
Is that a regular tactic? If you are convinced about the stock, and the timing of the entry is out, then I see the point. When it comes right you can even up the exposure and hopefully take a profit into the bargain.
tintin on CNBC this morning said that the European economy was now growing faster than the USA and UK. That bodes well for cardboard boxes.
I have only bought an initial holding at present. I didn't have the foresight to average down!

Off to eyeball the management at Smp today.

I heeded EI and jumped into SKG @£21.056. Pity I didn't jump around £20.70!
A bit boring, but better for my blood pressure.

Hey ho.

BVXP, makes a lot money by doing not very much, the power of IP. I do wish I had bought more.

HUR, one of my largest holding 8% in oil exploration, in from 17p last year. Thanks to brahm for highlighting from 13p

SDX, looks very bullish

I have also taken a small position in AAOG from around 25p

ECSC, very small cap and illiquid, moves on news, so you may have to wait a while. I have a small holding to keep me interested.

Still 20% in profit, pete?

I don't have HUR, dacian. Decided to hold my breath for a week on SOU :-)
It was always an atypical, roulette wheel bet.

I had a quick look at ECSC but couldn't fathom its USP, so put it on the vaguely-keep-an-eye-on-it list. Mod seems to have an eye for such as these.

FEVR seems to have lost its sparkle. Still a conviction buy for me.

Huge director placing has hammered mrs P's WGJ holding.
Haven't told her yet.
Hoping for recovery once it settles.
Looks like someone is trying to quit the business.

An enormous amount of interest in a report on the HUR thread this morning.
Seems two drilling sites are actually joined.
Mkt not quite decided what to do with the news yet.

Added some SKG.

Another vet visit this morning for my cat Doodle, Persian cats can be expensive,
the vet always smiles when she sees me, probably sees £££;£ signs.

Not one of the best, but it isn't a good day for markets!

As the bus stopped and it was her turn to get on,she became aware that her skirt was too tight to allow her leg to come up to the height of the first step of the bus.

Slightly embarrassed and with a quick smile to the bus driver, she reached behind her to unzip her skirt a little, thinking that this would give her enough slack to raise her leg
She tried to take the step, only to discover that she couldn't.
So, a little more embarrassed, she once again reached behind her to unzip her skirt a little more, and for the second time attempted the step.
Once again, much to her chagrin, she could not raise her leg. With a little smile to the driver, she again reached behind to unzip a little more and again was unable to take the step.

About this time, a large Texan who was standing behind her picked her up easily by the waist and placed her gently on the step of the bus.

She went ballistic and turned to the would-be Samaritan and yelled
'How dare you touch my body! I don't even know who you are!'
The Texan smiled and drawled,
'Well, ma'am, normally I would agree with you, but after you unzipped my fly three times, I kinda figured we were friends.

It's a gem of a company, L. Can't be bothered to fill in my cashflow spreadsheet, and NO HEDGING :-)
Had a look in a couple of supermarkets for DIS' gin and rum - they were there, but difficult to spot amongst the competitors.

Very different to your tropical island paradise.
Many years ago, I spent a Christmas holiday in a hotel in Buxton. We had central heating and extra electric fires in the bedrooms. Freezing didn't do it justice.
