In recent couple of years there has been a trading statement on 1st Dec - so there may be one this year timed to coincide with this event.

It is aspirational but say 50m for this year if they can push some of these brands into other markets at 20% per annum (again aspirational) with debt reducing and hopefully a rising share price and think they will be smaller players out there finding it tough. With the production capabilities and capacity available along with a larger distribution network it comes down to execution.

Overall I think this will motor on over the next 18 months as long as they continue to deliver the additional volumes.

Have to chuckle at their aspirational final slide…..£100m revenue in 2027 with M&A accelerators……how do they think they will finance M&A with a bombed out share price and a lack of credibility. Not a silk purse….still sows ear.

1jat...There's a non-cash increase to finance charge that will not repeat...FX related and amortisation of upfront costs that has changed due to lower utilisation of loan. This is a temporary impact as debt it coming down fast.. The second half will make it clear but hopefully the message is put across at tomorrow's investor call.

Still a recovery play…debt will take a couple of years to work off to a significantly lower level…and bring the cost down.
As Lammy points out they need to grow the top line and in particular the direct sales…it will fall through to the bottom line quickly enough.

ANother year before the share price starts to respond IMO…but look forward to being proved wrong.

Not sure I like the extension of options that are already 10 years old….not performed so let them lapse….makes it look like CEO runs the Board.

My thoughts on today RNS H1 results:
+ Revenue up 24.5% to £23.5m. Significant improvement.
+ EBITDA up 33% to £4.4m. Good.
- Loss £1.3m (v LY H1 £0.2m profit) - mainly due to higher interest rates (£1.7m paid on interest) and some write downs. Expected, but still a disappointment.
- Debt £19.0m due to acquisitons, but paid down £3.0m since December, which is good.
+ Cash £4.1m (LY H1 was £1.8m)improving.

-Dentyl mouthwash brand seems to be in decline in cut throat market with discounts everywhere. 9% down in revenue in UK.
- Chinese distributor sold nothing, no surprise - this is like flogging a dead horse!
+ Amazon sales up 69% to £1.6m and more products to be listed. Should be driving this part of the business really hard IMO.
+ HLH seems an excellent acquisition with strongly growing sales.

Overall, I'm a little disappointed with the bottom line loss, and I think that's why share price fell 4.7% today.

However clearly business is growing and cash flows looks good. Debt being paid down is key in my opinion to improve bottom line. Need to get the level down very quickly and focus on continuing to integrate the new products and brands to maximise revenues.

In this upbeat interview, CEO Jerry Randall of Venture Life Group plc takes me through today’s 'in line' interim results and positive FY'23 guidance - with H1’23 EBITDA climbing 33% to £4.4m on LFL sales 10.4% higher (Est split 8% volume vs 2% price) to £23.5m.

Yes to confirm the Chairman bought 125,276 shares at average 39.91p. This was detailed on an RNS dated 25th May.

That's a decent £50k buy, a good show of confidence for me. He holds a total of 689.866 shares or 0.55% of total share capital.

I agree - however, options are risk free - always nice for them to use their own hard earned cash though - think the chairman bought recently
