Hard to disagree, but £200k is not immaterial either tbf....let's hope they continue buying.....

Lol - that is just 2.7% of the £7.35m that they banked this time last year from the sale of 8,173,343 shares @90p. Reinvesting a comparatively miniscule amount of £200k @ circa 30p (a third of that price) hardly constitutes a solid vote of confidence !

so in last 3 weeks, over £200k by directors on shares, IMO that is not too shabby at all.

Let's see if their confidence is backed up by solid / positive RNSs!

Translate and read this article on a Chinese website that gives glimpses of what's being discussed on Chinese social media about Dently.

On the China debacles couple of ponderings.

Is dentyl that well known?

If not why would anyone bother to go against a company with the rights to import and distribute?

They are a Chinese company so could go legal with more clout than vlg?

Unless there is a game if get the rights buy some in and make your own? Totally pie in the sky?

I'm sure new CFO is a nice guy etc, but hardly a lot of experience is there to become a £30m market cap CFO from that disclosure? DYOR

Could it be a New Years share tip for ST ?

He was a strong believer, but possibly lost faith in the long slide.

Mmm I believe the house broker, Simon Thomson and Downings claim the Chinese Dentyl + hand gel sales are not required to justify a much higher price, but the market remains skeptical of that position.

1Jat your point is valid but while the acquisitions have to continue adding revenue, the core biz has to pick itself up.
Big losses on hand gel may need the help of Omicron to revive itself or some other star product needs to replace hand gels. Similarly, they need to quickly run a campaign in China To counter the damage done by a major internet campaign calling dentyl a fake brand.
Unless these two issues are addressed I don't see revenues hitting the levels that was expected from VLG.

Mcap is equivalent to the money raised and spent on acquisitions…..

Implies the previous business is valueless.

Can that really be the case?
