Market cap a mere £1.5million -

3.4million euro contract is pretty good but chart is one way -

Either this will bounce big or not -

Furthermore, as part of an overall cost management program we have consolidated our adviser relationships and continue to look at PLC costs. Currently Cenkos remain as our Nominated Advisor and Co-Broker with Davy as ESM Advisor and Co-Broker.

Maybe they don't earn enough? Only kidding, at the moment they could save up for 2 years and buy the whole company.

I have met Richardson at the Black Rat bar in Cornhill on a few occasions,
comes across as he knows the industry inside out.

Richardson is on £250k pa. I might stick a grand on it as a fun punt but wouldnt seriously invest until theres transparancy about the current cash position & how its going to make a profit going forward

...and the share price has joined the aim 90%+ loss club over the past 18 months during his tenure

Totally agree Arthur. The current management has failed shareholders. Get rid of the all and replace with decent management with business acumen and a focus on shareholder value - rather than their own back pockets!

Maybe they need to look at the cost of the Board at over £700k per annum for a small company. Sorting that out would reduce PLC costs quite a lot.

Well if they're keeping their employee resources intact as they say, ready for 'go', then either they're deluded, or pretty confident; because that level of overhead has been present for at least 2 years, with no increase in revenue.

(Or its a gravy train).

at an share price of 3p venn now has an mcap of £2.15m with full year 2017 turnover indicated circa €15m and say €2m loss.

any views on whether its a recovery play, or just a business in decline?

Who on earth would give this management any more cash?

Not great news but all said and done, more of possibly the same over coming months would have a positive impact. Let's hope for no new funds as this would be the final straw.

"continue to look at PLC costs"

Does that mean take the company private at or near the nadir, issue some more shares to certain people at a pittance and then refloat under a different name, if business picks up at a multiple of that share price.

Businesses are clearly not falling over each other to use Venn. Regardless of 'delay' talk, revenue has been gradually dropping for some years.

Well going against the grain I took a small punt on these today. Trading at a substantial discount to net current assets including cash. The shares in Integumen may prove to be worth something one day. Cash flow is about neutral. and the psr is quite appealing. If they ever sort their act out these could easily double or more.

Not a large punt, i'm prepared to see how it works out.

"Positively, Venn is developing its reputation in the high-growth, rare disease segment through successful project execution and new client wins," said Davy analyst Andrew Young.

The stockbroker said it would review its forecasts for Venn "in due course".

I dont know why they bother

Buying shares in companies like Venn is not investing-its handing money to cowboys to do with it as they please and and spend as they want-mainly on themselves. imo
