Presumably, most of the management here will soon be signing on. Surely, the 'consortium' would not wish to continue paying these bozos their ridiculous salaries.

Nothing but a Cash shell with viable assets sold out and the shell and PIs go down the tubes...Can't believe this was tipped in Midas approx 12.months ago.... Awful....

To be polite 'shafted' comes to mind. Luckily my investment was a punt with peanuts, peanuts like the valuation of this sinking ship.

Am sure you can remember the BILLIONS thrown into the Banking pot , yes tax payers money , and the Taxpayer has a majority share in Nat west , all good stuff. So easy to sort out for the benefit of the UK .

I obviously have always called this outfit out as a non business.

Clearly it's always needed to tap into financial markets for funding, it belongs as an R&D branch for an O&G outfit or similar who believes in a sustainable fuels future and not just mouths it for PR benefit, and has deep pockets than can afford to bank roll this. VLS is not suitable for public markets - it never was.

I wouldn't put my money into this and I don't want 'Mr Hunt' doing it with my money via other routes, ie, UK tax payers money.

Surprised HIT have wasted clients money on this dross, thought they were a better outfit than that, just goes to show how institutions gamble clients money.

Some of the Bean counters are quoting a value of £100 m for the assets , clearly dodgy dealings going on here, the whole BOD should be shown the door , keep the technical experts and bring in achievers , RR would be the perfect partner here.

Am surprised that the remaining large holders have not redirected the BOD to sort out funding , short and long term , lets see what happens in next 3 weeks , step up Hunt and save this technology for UK PLC .

1) I suspect the only buyers are those funds winding up there short positions
2) No UK Gov bail out because their set up is in the US
3) There's no time for another bid; they have run out of time

Also ask this question Why are people buying after a company puts out that RNS ? U have 100 percent got to have inside information That a counter bid is incoming or a financial deal is on the table i hope for longs this is the case The whole Situation stinks But let's face it Anything goes on UK markets ! No governance whatsoever

A car crash of a business that has rewarded the BoD handsomely over the years with generous payouts while presiding over monumental shareholder wealth destruction.

Does anyone still believe in institutions doing due diligence, I hear that alot when clueless mugs pump their pocket money into dross, they quote some institution buying as their raison d'etre for jumping in both feet first.

Institutions are just institutional gamblers - with other people's pensions, they don't lose any sleep over failed punts as they get pay and bonuses irrespective.

Hopefully, the mug punters will have sold out much earlier than today and not ridden this garbage all the way down to the forthcoming inevitable conclusion, in the hope that somehow against all the odds and the bleeding obvious, that it'll somehow all come good.

At least management will still get paid handsomely being part of the whole takeover and restructuring process
