13/12/2022 17:30 | It's been 13 months since the company signed the two offtake agreements so there is very good chance of another offtake agreement. They have been receiving enquiries and it's not like they have been sat idle. | z1co
13/12/2022 16:53 | Why a deal ? Why can't it just be a response to yesterday's news, unless you just want a spike to dump your trade into ? | yump
13/12/2022 16:39 | Finished strongly at 5.20p UP 6.9% and more importantly above 5p which bodes well for further upside. | z1co
13/12/2022 15:56 | Nice reversal this afternoon , could the company be lining up another massive deal ?. | z1co
12/12/2022 18:17 | Highest volume in the last 12 months but in November 2021 when the company signed two separate offtake agreements with Southwest Airlines and IAG for 15 and 10 years respectively volume was well over 100m. If the company executes another deal of similar nature expect the shares to multi bag again on very heavy volume. The company through its 20 years of expertise in sustainable fuels, is receiving a high level of enquiries from blue chip potential customers and is focussing its active dialogue on companies which operate in regions with favourable policy environments. Velocys is actively focussed on advancing its commercialisation strategy through a targeted pipeline of opportunities to deploy its technology and services. | z1co

12/12/2022 10:22 | Longspur Research ALTALTO WINS MAJOR FUNDING SUPPORT Significant grant funding for the Altalto project represents a major derisking in our view and allows Velocys to move this project ahead through FEED towards final investment decision. The timing works with the existing timetable and additional Power-to-X funding for Velocys opens up additional optionality for the company. £27m to take project through FEED Velocys has won grant funding for its Altalto project at Immingham on Humberside. The project has won recognition with £27m of funding as a Window 1 project under the Advanced Fuels Fund. This provides grant funding to first-of-a-kind (FOAK) commercial and demonstration-scale projects in the UK at all development stages up to construction starting, including the important “Front-end engineering and design” (FEED) stage. The grant has a private sector matched funding requirement, and the project has already received letters of intent from a number of existing and new potential partners for this with the first payment due to be in place by April 2023. The funding of the FEED stage is the key precursor to financial close and, with the matched funding, we can consider Altalto funded through to financial close. This is now possible by 2025 which in turn means the project remains on track for commercial operation in 2027. £2.7m for Power-to-X The Advanced Fuels Fund also reserves a sub-pot of up to £22 million out of the total £165 million to support projects that use CO2 as their main carbon source in fuel production. Velocys has won £2.5m from this pot for the creation of Power-to-X fuel using green hydrogen from electrolysis with captured CO2, again using the Velocys Fischer Tropsch technology. Velocys is already delivering its technology for this application with Toyo in Japan, but the funding here will allow it to develop further with a number of existing and new partners and gives the company greater optionality as low carbon fuel markets evolve. The resulting new E-Fuels Project will be known as e-Alto and will be managed by Velocys and include Clariant Catalysts, Technip Energies and British Airways as partners. | someuwin
12/12/2022 08:22 | Note:We are delighted that a number of large commercial companies have indicated their support for the project through indications of matched funding contribution and the provision of services to progress the project.IE more funding coming. For free. | babbler
