About time for another huge spike up....

Seems the site says their capacity will be 35 million gallons from the 2 sites. What's the optimistic and aggressive plan to ramp that up? Depends on licensing partners...

ITM also very interesting. More and more large companies moving to Hydrogen power.

I like the product, the evolution and the timing. Just bought more. My only thought is that they need to ramp it up and get moving. Just saying.

The trend is up and brokers are recommending. To increase holding is a no brainer.

That's 1000 flights ever; or every other day? It's the rate that counts.

On the VLS website it says that the UK site will produce enough fuel for 1000 transatlantic flights. They will need to be producing a lot more to cater for all the flights as that doesn't seem a lot.

Velocys is trading at more than a 50 per cent discount to peers in new and renewable energy."We believe [it] is at an inflection point," said Shore's Akhil Patel, who forecasts "significant cash inflows as a number of large, commercially scaled projects begin. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/green-fuel-firm-may-finally-be-taking-off-fdg855tdm

Its been a long wait .....

"Still, analysts are so optimistic about Velocys that they pencil in revenues — £8.3 million last year — hitting £46 million by 2026. Shore Capital claims Velocys is trading at more than a 50 per cent discount to peers in new and renewable energy.

“We believe [it] is at an inflection point,” said Shore’s Akhil Patel, who forecasts “significant cash inflows as a number of large, commercially scaled projects begin”. He expects Velocys to have more cash coming in than going out by 2024, with positive underlying earnings by 2027.

It’s dicey, yes, but Velocys now appears to be embarking on a new phase of unrolling its capital-light, asset-light licensing model in a market with high barriers to entry.

Buy ... but be patient and prepare for turbulence."

Waste biofuels to be ‘key driver’ in energy transition
By Dominic Ellis18 August 2022

Waste-based biofuels could be a key driver of the energy transition transforming today’s limited supply of low carbon transportation fuels and creating a local, circular economy, according to a new Wood Mackenzie report | Currently biofuels only account for 3% of today’s 100mn b/d liquid fuel demand.

As announced in November 2021, Velocys has already secured long-term offtake arrangements for 100% of the SAF output expected from the Bayou Fuels facility with Southwest Airlines (a 15-year agreement) and IAG/British Airways (MOU for a 10-year agreement) avoiding 8.8 million tonnes of CO(2) over the term of the off-takes. This new climate legislation is expected to allow finalisation of conversion of the MOU to a full offtake agreement.Won't be long..
