Read the company Title. Gas to liquids. - Hence near the north sea. We have spent enough time converting waste to fulfill other peiples projects. Go for itincluding fracking gas. I might even say Gac Gas!

Hmmm. Rather than the UK just funding SAF research and development, it would be more compelling if we mandated SAF content in jet fuel. I think France are leading the way here with a requirement for at least 1% SAF from 2022. A tiny step, necessarily limited by our ability to source and produce SAF, but one which makes it easier for backers to invest the big money required.

BA are probably on the right track here, significant volumes of SAF will only come once we have found a large and reliable sustainable resource. Waste is a limited resource but gets us on our way. Agroforestry byproduct is bigger volume and kind of sustainable, if you buy the theory that culling trees which will take 30-years plus to regrow is sustainable.

The real winner is when we can make SAF from green hydrogen combined with captured CO2.

Here is some news from the other message board:
Strategic Biofuels' Louisiana Green Fuels project moves into FEED. See their press release: hxxps://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20220314005551/en
Paul Schubert, Strategic Biofuels CEO, and former Velocys COO, took at shot at the status of Velocys Bayou Fuels plant when he stated “The transition to FEED is a major achievement for Strategic Biofuels and the industry, as many projects get stuck at the FEL-2 stage and are not able to advance further."

So 10% of the company was transferred to A's cronies. Is that the full extent of his / their exposure?

I'm not sure that it's fair to say Abromovitch is a lover of Putin, but pretty sure he has to dance to his tune.

Handing his stakes over to Davidovitch and Tenebaum shouldn't be allowed to swerve sanctions, and to get his money out Abramovitch will still need them to sell out on his behalf. The governance of VLS or other major investors / trade partners will demand his and their exit.

Wonder how quickly his associates will be drawn into this as well. Presume that they will ultimately be sanctioned by association.

President von der Leyen, speaking on Monday (7 March), said: “We are looking for a focused acceleration of the European Green Deal. This is not only important and good for our strategic investment in our independence, it is also good for our industry and it is good for our planet.”

Fellow followers of VLS - why so weak todays share prices outside mkt downturns? Is the Abramovich holding an issue? Funding issues? Thought with high oil prices renewables would do well but share prices has halved - Thku

Still watching this from the sidelines, hoping it will get back to my 4p target entry level, or there is some super financial news.

Anyone else worried by the large stakes being accumulated by oligarchs?
