17/9/2021 11:40 | I think I agree with Zimerman, theres no argument PWhite...Even if the AZD1656 is only beneficial as a Diabetic drug, its potential is still huge and the global situation there is only worsening with our lifestyles... It may be prolonged with further success in the larger trial but I await the 7s again before I become keen! | one_frankel
17/9/2021 07:38 | cg5 - "People ramping on the fact sgs shares have been sold to other investors" Not on here they're not on LSE chat they are. But LSE chat are full of people on the payroll of PR companies and they ban any dissenting voices. Other than that you're right. The 1.1 billion shares have no real value at all. They came off the Vela printing press with the other 14 billion. The market makers flip them for any price they can. Mug PIs hold onto them until the next Vela ramp. I predict an investment in a Phase III trial to combat baldness will be the next RNS. | pwhite73
17/9/2021 07:12 | Nice update on Aeristech | wapper
16/9/2021 22:31 | This could drop tomorrow after 9am. People ramping on the fact sgs shares have been sold to other investors then who the hell has been selling causing this drop. If sgs shares have been sold below current price then it is an easy flip for investors. I predict initial rise tomorrow followed by a drop. Mms hold a lot of shares imo GLA holders .. hopefully it bags and your not left holding bags | capitalgains5
16/9/2021 16:16 | blueblood - "Sir Chris Evans talking to Abu Dhabi wealth fund this week no doubt!" The Abu Dhabi wealth fund are a highly respected name all over the world to the point where the name itself has immense commercial value. For example the fund can invest as little as £1,000 but you pay them £10,000 to use their name. The use of the name will encourage and give assurances to other investors of the value and security of any project they invest in. That is the extent of the prestige to which the name carries. Like the names of Gates, Buffet or Musk the names themselves are of immense commercial value. They don't pay you, you pay them. | pwhite73
16/9/2021 16:03 | All a scam | jaforsadi
16/9/2021 16:01 | The shares went to Peterhouse Capital maybe at about 0.060p they would have offloaded them for 0.065p so the shares are in the hands of bucket shop MM basically looking for anything over 0.066p. | pwhite73
16/9/2021 15:53 | 1.1billion shares now with multiple parties all of whom will dump as soon as they can | jaforsadi
15/9/2021 13:35 | Tom - You've modified your original comment. However it was exactly what I am saying. Your and my analogy applies to any therapeutic drug at trial stage targeted for a specific illness. Considering tens of millions have been effected with Covid the question that applies to all therapeutic trial drugs is what are its effects on patients who have been affected with Covid-19 can it help? Vela has created a diversionary route to entice new investors in a process that is a natural progression for any therapeutic drug at the moment. This diversionary tactic has cost investors a lot of money. The whole ARCADIA trial is an utter nonsense all therapeutic drug companies are doing Arcadia type trials during this pandemic as a matter of course because they have no choice Covid is everywhere and especially in hospitals. I hope this makes things clearer. Once again AZD1656 is a diabetes drug not a Covid drug. If it can cure the effects of diabetes then by default it will mitigate against the effects of Covid. | pwhite73
15/9/2021 12:20 | Don’t really get the argument tbh. | tomzimerman
15/9/2021 11:56 | No Mcrudden its misleading. You will note there is no Phase I to the Arcadia trial why not?. Because Phase I took place well before the world had even heard of Covid. Liken it to this you're lying in bed with Covid. Your family bring you light food and drink to nurse you back to health. The food and drink provide vital ingredients like fluid, carbohydrates and vitamins to strengthen your body's ability to fight the virus. You eventually recover. If you didn't eat or drink at all through your Covid illness the chances are the virus would have got the better of you. The point is this, although the food and drink facilitated your recovery they are not antidotes to the effects of the virus unlike vaccines for example. The AZD1656 is equivalent to the food and drink. Its a diabetic drug and nothing to do with Covid. Do you understand what I'm saying. | pwhite73
15/9/2021 11:35 | Surely that's the whole point mr white. It helps people survive covid ffs Just answered your own question then | mcrudden
15/9/2021 11:28 | Here is some useful information. This link has probably been posted before but its worth a read again. As I said AZD1656 is a diabetic drug if it can assist diabetics then by default it will increase their chances of surviving Covid. If it ever gets to market the drug will be used to treat diabetics not people who are only suffering from the effects of Covid. | pwhite73
15/9/2021 11:05 | blueblood - In my view technically there never has been any trial. AZD1656 was in trials before Covid-19 was discovered. The Arcadia trial started in August 2020 well into the pandemic. It goes without saying if the drug is successful in increasing the overall health of diabetics then by default it must enhance their ability to cope with an infection of Covid-19. In the RNS report they talk about mortality rates of those on the placebo to those having taken the drug but no reason is given as to why the drug was more effective. Did it specifically target the Covid-19 virus or did it set out to do what it was meant to do, reduce sugar levels in diabetics so increasing their overall health. Is AZD1656 a diabetic drug or a Covid drug?. Its a diabetic drug and has nothing to do with Covid. | pwhite73
15/9/2021 10:49 | Still in good profit from buying 2/3 weeks back here. After all the ups and downs, posting and deramping going on, it's held it's range.... While we wait for news on commercialisation mentioned in the rns. Dyor a must here | mcrudden
14/9/2021 13:43 | Wow, I thought it was beyond sad to post almost daily about a share you have no interest in but you someone take it to new depths by analysing buy / sell trades. Genuine sympathy for you as it's a clear indicator as any you don't have much going on in your life. Don't stay bitter, get better even at near 50 years old... Have a good day all. | mwgunshow |
