The best advice you can be given is to keep away from AIM/small cap stocks. 95% are listed solely to enrich the directors, brokers, nomads, funders and market makers. Vela is one of them. Stick to FTSE100 companies or a savings account.

As I’m new to this and vela was a complete let down is there anyone in here that would maybe give some companies that they feel are going to come good at all? And would point me indirection to look into !! Maybe !?

What's clear is that the rns wasn't as good as pumpers make out, hence 2 days of decline in share price .

People being mugged off and giving their shares away. Commercialisation discussions underway and Abu Dhabi wealth fund backing for SGS. It also appears that some have forgotten the £1.2m warrant funding that went into VELA's bank account last week....

luckyAG - Nothing to do with spread bets. SGS are allowed to exit then Vela comes after the rest of your money. The real issue here is that the markets are not buying into these non-results of a non-trial.

The general consensus after today seems to be that a 500 mill - 1 Bill MC is now possible moving forward, dependant how how well the drug does commercially obviously!

...And PWhite my dear old friend, I'm sure you won't but please don't buy into Vela at these valuations now as its not sustainable and I really dont know what the future entails with the medical trial although results from the smaller cohort do seem to be highly encouraging at first glance for further investigation but it will require significant funding and that cant be to the interests of investors at these valuations.

Luckabbeygale I wandered over here because people kept putting Vela and SNG together for some reason.
Then I find you talking about a 'vaccine' in connection with SNG!
We have never been associated with a vaccine.
we are under going trials for a nasal spray as a treatment for Covid.
Synairgen 's strength and commitment has always been as a specialism, around lungs and respiratory function.

Not vaccines.
