Historically, NPR hasn't been performing and it does seem to be in decline but there is clear indication by JN of establishing Vela on firmer foundations for that rerate now...

ARB has been extremely fortuitous for many but I doubt anyone could have anticipated such a relentless drive in Cryptos and Vela's performance was shambolic before JN but his actions since have been nothing short of 'Artful'...Give the canny JN a little time to prove his metal here and i have no doubt that AAA won't be his only success!

Argo was not "sold" it was "hived off" with 4 other companies as part of the restructuring last year into a company called newco that is owned by the shareholders that had shares in the company on the record date. If you read the rns from the 26th july 2020 I think you will find all the info on the restructuring. This had nothing to do with james normand it was anthony laiker and Fitzpatrick that did this, and obviously would of been nice in hindsight if argo had been kept as part of vela. But that was the situation they were in at the time.

100% Argo holding was sold at circa 5p, alongside a few others all close to the time when the new management board coming in. Most ridiculous call... everyone could see where BTC was going and these numpties decided to sell! Trying not to think where our price would have been... anyway, it is what it is... like many other commentators, our price is closely twinned with the St George trials success...

Ps.. fortunately or unfortunately, the future of the share in the next few months is in the hands of the covid trial.

It could make or break Vela.

A positive result with commercialisation deal and we could be multiples.of where we are, failure and it will be a 30% drop and sentiment shot.

I'm in two minds about James Normand - the jury is out imo.

Yes he's had one monumental success with AAA, but then , to balance, a catastrophic decision with Argo.

Not sure of the cut of his jib yet, and although investee company Mode could reach great heights, I'm certainly not sure about this one - a very very busy space and could get subsumed very easily.

We shall see

Hi Bapodra...
Yes, going in the right direction; trading a tad premium to NAV but profits starting to come in and looking more slimline with direction.

You ask about listed investments and not wanting to labour a point with this one, but I can’t seem to find the RNS when they sold Argo Blockchain..keep scrolling up and down but can’t find it; do you know the date?
Thanks

Good standard update stating where we are.

Total of 10 investments with 5 floated and 5 more private. They have circa £2.1m in cash so would expect news of their next investment being a new or increasing an existing one to be not that far away.

Trust your judgement then Bull, everything else will follow through!

...I'm not sure if its called the 'Holding Stock' Pasty but every company holds stock that is not part of the 'Free Float'.

Its just impatient investors buddy who don't really understand the outlook for Vela, they'll arrive once valuations become elevated again and then rage over the price action!

...Best time to trade is when the masses are looking away guys!

Very disappointing why sell now at these levels? Give it a couple of months with limited downside.

Anything in the 7s, buy and accumulate...But I don't agree with the 5-10 year time horizon for any serious uplift here, I think it will happen much sooner and probaby within the next two years...

Not counting chickens yet but couldn't have had clearer update from SGS. Reckon market have no idea of potential impact on VELA yet. Really like the potential discussions in June line....

The SGS trial news was much better than expected and timescales set out clearly. The fact we could be in commercialisation talks in June are mind blowing.
