09/11/2015 08:31 | Bouncing off that trendline? CR | cockneyrebel
06/11/2015 16:56 | Who knows, but I reckon Copper and Zinc might double bottom here as the market rallies off the US jobs numbers next week imo. Interesting times - might help the market if LMI went under too, and a few more. CR | cockneyrebel

04/11/2015 20:04 | I'm a firm beliver in chart history. Look at the buying momentum each time the price action has got over the 8ema, circled red. The last time it managed to get above the 8ema and put in a doji candle, it soon dropped back. Today just looks too similar to me. My monies still on a gap fill, unless we get some momentum in the buying tomorrow. Plus that 450 gap sits right on a support line and copper looks as though it could come off a bit, making a higher low. | si c
04/11/2015 18:29 | Well it hasn't yet but looking at tonight's commodities it may well. | little minx
04/11/2015 17:52 | It always fills the gaps little minx, never say never the market always wins | linton5

04/11/2015 17:28 | Very much an undecided day looking at the candle. Still fancy a visit to a 450 gap close before this journeys north. | si c
04/11/2015 16:50 | Sooner or later Opec will have to cut production and the price will rise.I hope in the mean time these miners have the common sense to stockpile oil to run the big cats in the future. The Saudi are really starting to bust my cohonas with their market share obsession but guess governments love it since low fuel price keeps ppl happy and food prices down however tax revenue is getting raped big time so something has to give. | brutus8
04/11/2015 16:17 | The major lows are trending higher here imo. Due another of those spikes north soon imo: free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | cockneyrebel

04/11/2015 07:47 | the decline in oil and gas earnings makes the merger more likely at current ratios without sweetening the deal as cairn india shareholders can see they are not at a premium. a sensible announcement overall and good debt reduction. all imo Mac | macoopert
04/11/2015 07:30 | Obviously a shorter. They are managing the current situation which will turn. | little minx
04/11/2015 07:23 | One look at the Interim Results and you can see how far VED is orientated toward the debt holders rather than the equity holders. It will be interesting to see just how market forces react to the scale of negative earnings attributable to equity holders. The suspension of the dividend may not be well received though its loss may already have been priced in. The decline in EBITDA seems to be almost entirely attributable to its oil & gas operations. | bobsidian
30/10/2015 21:52 | There are many variables with the VED valuation.Mostly external factors beyond their control, i.e commodity prices. From a chart point of view I am hoping to see at least a return to 600 baring any sudden sentiment changes from brokers or rating agencies.Of course on the positive side if some hurdles are cleared in the coming months at a company level and commodity prices find a reasonable level and outlook then I believe significant upside is possible. Imo But as is always recommended here please do your own research.Mac | macoopert
30/10/2015 19:59 | Where would you see this going. I know broker notes are not gospel but some are not great. I was hoping to see £6 again on this by Xmas. | little minx
30/10/2015 15:47 | Yes spotted that too.Mac | macoopert |
