26/5/2021 10:10 | Possibly but I think an upward price negotiation with Institutional Investors is more likely. The directors do not own the business and II's will not like being bullied/manipulated. | dlem
26/5/2021 10:04 | I do feel a counter bid is possible here ... | cityfarmer
26/5/2021 10:01 | That was my immediate thought after reading the announcement re the takeover. After the ups and mainly downs of the past few years it is a relief to be finally getting out. | alexchry
26/5/2021 09:59 | Vectura King...do you really believe it's game over......? I only ask as (like me) you have always been an advocate of the £2 target price? | jopper74
26/5/2021 09:46 | Don’t think a counter bid is likely, this seems a good offer esp. in light of a lack lustre trading statement, still not convinced that CDMO is the right strategy. | diesel
26/5/2021 09:34 | Hopefully a higher bid will materialise ! | haroldthegreat
26/5/2021 09:30 | Done Deal Game over | vecturaking
26/5/2021 09:28 | I’m very tempted to sell out but for sake of a few k on the 5p premium available I’ll see how it pans out for a counter offer | best1467
26/5/2021 09:25 | Just as we got US approval for seretide generic ! | haroldthegreat
26/5/2021 09:13 | Just got over £1.61 for 30k worth so market expects more action. This is by far my biggest holding and still got 200k. Can’t see a counter bid as it looks done and dusted but bit of FOMO after all the years of pain here. It’s a four bagger for me, so today’s quite a good day but still think we are being sold short. | gbcol
26/5/2021 09:02 | Share price staying stubbornly higher than the offer price even after all the selling. Interesting market reaction suggesting it is not a done deal. | guru
26/5/2021 09:01 | As a recent holder who acquired at 111p I am more than happy. Sold my holding this morning. | salpara111
26/5/2021 08:49 | Hope, that is not too late for a counter offer. | bill hunt
26/5/2021 08:49 | Even at todays price, I'm still down 18k on my original SKP investment :-( I'm just grateful I can use the loss against other gains this year. | gregb
26/5/2021 08:42 | I'm out. Nice profit. Hope you guys who hold get a counter bid-more than likely I think-but mgmt here are no use, as we have seen over the years, so don't expect them to try too hard to get maximum shareholder value. I'm surprised GSK hasn't looked in here. | cumnor
26/5/2021 08:38 | Yes !! Vec my largest holding. What a good day. | peddlers
26/5/2021 08:25 | Oh yeahOnly had a few thousand share but ill take it thanks | scepticalinvestor
26/5/2021 08:19 | Pop in and say wait for £2 | richtea2517
26/5/2021 08:14 | The Institutional Shareholders will decide. Their irrevocable support does not appear to have been secured yet, only that of the directors. | dlem
26/5/2021 08:13 | Surprised, but glad to be out, reading the trading statement it doesn’t look like I would have been tempted to stay. | diesel
26/5/2021 08:13 | At 160p the market presumably only sees 136+19p as the opening shot. By pure coincidence, I'm on my way to Chippenham in about half an hour! | boadicea
26/5/2021 08:11 | My view is that we PIs get shafted -yet again ! Great deal for Downie & his pals & gives long suffering IIs an exit which is acceptable to them.I am sure that Carlyle will asset strip & sell off the unwanted parts, reducing their net costs further & as we would love HIK to make a counter offer, I suspect that Will & pals have HIK onside based on deals which we will never know about. My involvement goes back to the beginning of SKP & due to decent sized additional purchases at well under 100p & more recently at around 110p I shouldnt complain but I do consider that the sum of our parts adds up to more than the whole & if Carlyle sold off all businesses apart from CDMO they would be left with a load of cash & a growing business, which is currently valued at zero, despite our cash funding from start up . Vec are dressing up the exit as a higher eturn than it is as , in my book 135p is around 10% higher than yesterdays close & , as ever, those in the know have made a very fast buck in recent days, while we long sufferers havent ! No one likes to feel stitched up - which is my emotion here! | base7
