21/5/2013 01:30 | WH Ireland has retained its speculative buy recommendation but slashed its target price to 20p from 74p as it recognised the increased risk of further equity dilution. Vatukoula has flattered to deceive many times before. Back in August 2012 the shares touched 43.6p after it again announced a new heavyweight Chinese investor willing to pay a significant premium to the prevailing price in order to grab a sizeable strategic stake. Shengen Xintal International Mine Industry Group invested £10.3million for the issue of 20million new shares at 51.65p. It gave it a 17 per cent stake but nothing exciting ever materialised. Back in April 2009 when it was a penny stock, the Vatukoula board revealed it had received a number of bid approaches, none of which bore any fruit. Four years later and its still a case of jam tomorrow. Not for widows, ex ukip councillors or orphans. | chinese investor
20/5/2013 23:24 | Big rise tomorrow on this Mail article | big7ime
20/5/2013 17:29 | Chinese i am surprised you have departed the scene. If Paxton Can't raise the extra dosh via bank funding then judgement day has simply been postponed for another few months. However if the bank funding can be raised within the next few months then their is potentially more upside here. Ultimately until we see some evidence of increased production ( which could be never based on the last 3 years.)the jury remains out. Paxton clearly has the gift of the gab!!! | atlantic57

20/5/2013 15:28 | Good Luck to all Holders ! | chinese investor
20/5/2013 15:08 | It looks too professional to be Paxton. My bet is that both Xintai and DRK are Zhongrun (possibly with DP's knowledge). The likelihood is thus - similar to Xintai. Drag it out, with no news. Then Zhongrun step in as the saviour, mop the whole company up for about $10m | augustusgloop
20/5/2013 15:05 | This can't be another Xintai? Surely not even Paxton could be that hard-faced to try and pull the same scam twice... in the space of a few months? Seriously, it would be so funny if it was another scam!! I don't think it can be though... | craignet8 |
