Gotta love bookworm, turns up from no where, doesn't invest, ridicules the company in front of those of us have eaten, slept and cried vast for years. He's now promised its instant demise based on some distant example, and 10 minutes later the price increases 10%.

CHOC got suspended the day the NOMAD resigned and that wasn't the case with VAST, so to draw parralels is a bit naughty imo bookworm.

That having said, from -5% to +10% now, looking good ;-)

This is a copy and paste from Share Prophets. Strand Hanson (Vast's outgoing Nomad) resigned from this company as well, and this is the result...

"No-one could accuse United Cacao (CHOC) of hanging around when it came to staging its own fatal car crash. December 22nd to January 4th was all it needed to go all the way.
Yesterday at 4.10 PM Nomad Strand Hanson quit with immediate effect. The shares are suspended and it must be game over. First, a reminder of back to mid December when the shares were 115p.

As we now know the company was trying to raise £4 million with Beaufort Securities at 80p but it could not get that away. Thus on 22nd December it fessed up and said that if it sold all its machineray and stopped doing any operations it would have enough cash to last until late January. In other words it was bust.

Generally Nomads are worse than rats - both are vermin but rates have more principles. Rats jump off a sinking ship as it is going down. Nomads hang on to AIM companies right until they are underwater, extracting their very last fees until "doing the principled thing" and resigning and swimming for shore.

And thus the resignation of Strand Hanson as the AIM Nomad and NEX (formerly ISDX ) adviser to the bonds was a sign that it is almost certainly game over. Cacao mouthed the usual platitudes about talking to a replacement but how an earth could any Nomad do full due diligence by February 4 on a company that will be bust by then? And why would anyone invest in a company that is almost certain to lose its AIM listing?

It is a dead chicken and poisonous egg situation but the upshot is that United is almost certainly toast.

FWIW, my post yesterday doesn't mean I think Vast has a future - far too many structural problems for that. I think it is a bankruptcy play, and that means its assets will become available.

Thanks for all the compliments. I'm off this board now to go to work!

C'mon bod, stop the free-fall - where's that assurance that all is in hand?

=============================

Are you serious ?????? How about the 2 RNS's on the 20th and 21st December ? I think they make it pretty clear.

They can't release an RNS every time the share price drops !!!

It rose from 0.11 to 0.34 .... it's only natural for some to sell at a handsome profit.

Nothing goes up in a straight line and you get consolidation along the way. The way you talk is that you are clueless of this so would you like to use my name ??

Regards
IHNC

On or before 31/01/2017 is the date VAST has to announce a new nomad or the stock will be suspended according to AIM rule 1.

But do not assume you have until this date before suspension. VAST can request a 'Temporary Suspension' in its own shares earlier if it is certain it will not have a new nomad by this date to prevent a disorderly market in its shares.

Until a new nomad is announced there is the danger of suspension every single day.

The key to this is certainly the replacement nomad, as soon as that is cleared up any barriers to this recovering are gone I'm not saying I expect it to shoot back up but it should gradually recover. C'mon bod, stop the free-fall - where's that assurance that all is in hand?

Bookworm has tried to fool people into believing VAST is a bad investment and unfortunately probably some believed him and sold..... Meanwhile the share price has dropped and now he's bullish as he has bought in as overs panicked after all the negative comments.I'm patiently waiting for this to explode north again soon :)))
