02/1/2017 19:17 | Thanks, Fairlight. That about sums up the problem - remembering that if the shares lose their AIM status then it's basically game over. Amongst other things, a Nomad is responsible for ensuring that the company is a going concern and that it reports honestly to the markets. So it will indeed be interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks. Luckily, I'm only an amused observer. I don't short companies, full stop. And I only invest in ones that I believe in. (By the way, the discussion on this share on LSE today is absolutely priceless; it degenerated into a discussion about anxiety medications). | bookwormrobert
02/1/2017 19:08 | bookworm..think you have the wrong person...most people know me has maestro the well respected QXL tipster who forcasted the legendary rise of QXL in 2004...became a 200 bagger...bobsworth also another well respected poster will confirm this | temmujin
02/1/2017 19:06 | Chat's hotting up on VAST - lots of conjecture regarding the NOMAD - as stated in the RNS 16 December: "The Company is in advanced discussions with a replacement nominated adviser which it expects to engage on, or before, 31 January 2017. Should a replacement nominated adviser not be appointed on or before 31 January 2017, its ordinary shares will be suspended from trading on AIM for a period of up to 30 days pending such appointment, following which, should a replacement nominated adviser not be appointed, Vast's admission to trading on AIM will be cancelled. That spells it out - you make up your own mind - I reckon a new NOMAD appointed this week - probably tomorrow, if not the share price will drop. | fairlight
02/1/2017 19:01 | This share has legsSIMPLY TOO UNDERVALUED | turbotrader2
02/1/2017 18:50 | lol 135m MCAP in next few weeks may even be a tad too optimistic for even most bulls here ;-) I'd be more than happy with a 1p and a new NOMAD ;-), and is still a triple bag. | novicetrade68
02/1/2017 18:44 | Couldn't or wouldn't doubt thatGreat investment imho | turbotrader2
02/1/2017 18:26 | anyone not in this needs their head looking at...it was trading over 1p last year for around 6 months and that was before all this fantastic news and no profit, 3p seems about right price so looking at 10 bagger next few weeks | temmujin
02/1/2017 18:13 | Any drop into 20s is being heavily bought into..... Lots of subtle deramps and not so subtle...sp is strongly under pinned by recent news.. | james_paul
02/1/2017 17:42 | Some desperate trolling on here atm Been caught out short by the recent unexpected rise, guys? | gemstar2
02/1/2017 16:09 | PI's will no doubt be booking... NOMAD FESTIVAL IS A MUSIC FESTIVAL CURATED BY UK ARTIST NICK HOWARD FEATURING AMAZING SINGER/SONGWRITERS FROM GERMANY AND ACROSS THE WORLD. THE SECOND FESTIVAL WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE VIBRANT AND COLORFUL CITY OF KOLN IN JUNE 2017. Lol! | ny boy
02/1/2017 14:56 | I truly do hope so. After the mauling PIs received last year it would be cruel to start 2017 with a countdown to suspension. | pwhite73
02/1/2017 14:33 | a friend of mine phoned him..he said its all sorted..news this week | temmujin
02/1/2017 13:08 | Get a life folks. Nomad will be appointed on time. Ask yourself isn't VAST better than 90% of aim companies? If so then why should they have a problem getting a new nomad?See you all at 1p by end of January. Happy new year. | jungmana
02/1/2017 13:07 | OK, I'm done here, people. I tried; you've been warned. No wonder this company doesn't have any reputable institutional investors! | bookwormrobert
02/1/2017 12:40 | roy has allready said its in hand ( to number of people on lse ) believe him and buy in, or keep your monies in bank | sigora
02/1/2017 12:37 | Dear NY Boy, The CEO is committing a crime if he answers your call and your question. And you're committing a crime if you act on the info, if he does tell you. It's called insider trading. So, no, it's not that simple. (Or, at least, it shouldn't be). | bookwormrobert
02/1/2017 11:53 | Just called up the friggin CEO and ask him for clarification on the matter, his tel no etc are listed at the bottom of each rns. Call tomorrow, assuming he's back from holidays. | ny boy
02/1/2017 11:13 | Shares can also be worthless whilst they are listed. It is the main reason why directors do not own any of their company's shares. | pwhite73
02/1/2017 09:56 | Answer to Temmunjim... You need a Nomad because it's the rules. No Nomad, no AIM. No AIM = shares effectively worthless. Simples! | bookwormrobert
02/1/2017 09:55 | I don't know anything more about Vast Resources than is publicly available, but I have done my homework diligently. Unlike some of the other posters on this thread, I don't claim to have called up "Roy" and received inside information, which would be illegal if it were true, but which of course it isn't. Full disclosure: I do know quite a bit about non-ferrous mineral extraction and about Romania (I've worked there), and nothing about Zimbabwe except what I've read in the papers. I'm confident somebody someday will make money out of the Romanian deposits (especially the tailings); I'm just not sure it will be Vast Resources in its current incarnation. So I repeat: Vast is a company whose Nomad resigned (i.e. gave up a fat fee) for reasons unknown. The consequence of this is that unless it finds a new Nomad in the next month its shares are effectively worthless. Finding a new Nomad in the current AIM regulatory climate is no easy task. Vast is also a company which recently lost is CFO, who seemingly has since dumped his shares. Warrants for shares (on ridiculous terms) keep emerging out of nowhere, so I have no idea of the effective number of this company's shares, and I fear yet further dilution. I also have my doubts about some of the company's other representations. Isn't that enough reason to avoid like the plague? | bookwormrobert
01/1/2017 22:01 | Because it's the rules and we will or even have a new ?? | turbotrader2
01/1/2017 21:14 | exactly so so many positives on here just the nomad issue wich gauranteed will be shorted out soon enough , with vast in profits and news on many other fronts immienent i will stay in and add on any weakness along with idp i can sleep in peace here | sigora
01/1/2017 21:05 | Well said Sigora...stunning RNs 's and a tiny mcap.... Roy wants a new nomad ...only thing neg deramping posters can see is other stocks problems and relate them to ours ... Maybe Roy is dictating what is happening ....i want a new nomad ..you can resign if you like i was going to fire you anyway ...but i am going to push this company forward... Only 2 reasons for resignation is BS ...this is AIM .... | james_paul |
