Well said Astjgroom! Bookworm should just move to to somewhere he is wanted. Nobody wants to listen to his negative views, we all know the pros and cons of vast. We have chosen to invest here and believe we will see a good return.

Thanks book worm. As someone who has been invested in Vast for well over a year I've done due dil and am well aware of the risks, as are many on this thread. We don't invest/risk our money easily. u do seem fairly negative vast and you aren't invested, perhaps you should move on elsewhere, this is a thread for investors in Vast who are well aware of its shortcomings and we don't need constant negative rhetoric from a none investor pointing out we documented flaws we are already aware of. Why don't u take ur research somewhere it will be more appreciated.

Surely, Vast's share price will crumble now. After all this time, it's obvious that there is a problem finding a new Nomad. After all, the old Nomad, Strand Hanson, didn't resign from a profitable account for no reason whatsoever.

I think people here need to be looking at three sets of possible concerns:
1. Zimbabwe country risk - do Vast actually fully control the assets they claim to control there? Can they actually take money out of the country? Are they threatened with indigenisation (i.e. forced takeover)? Who actually is their local partner who takes 50% of the revenues?
2. Romanian corruption - I think people are being hopeless naive about the difficulties of operating in such a corrupt country (I know, I've worked there). I find it highly unlikely that Vast will be granted the new licenses, or will be treated as any more than a cash cow by Romanian bureaucrats.
3. The degree to which the company and its BoD have fairly represented the company's situation to investors, and whether it is in fact a going concern. I particularly dislike that information seems to leak from the board to a few favoured investors via phone calls and e-mails; this is normally a very bad omen.

If any of these concerns have a factual basis, that would (or should) deter a Nomad from taking Vast's money. Nomads do have a legal responsibility to AIM, after all.

Hmm, still no Nomad. And the clock is ticking... I guess that if there isn't an RNS on Monday morning then next week will be very bloody.

All told, what I would say to the honest investors on this BB, is that there are far, far better junior miners to invest in than Vast Resources, which come with a lot less "baggage". So if you can get out, do. (And remember there is very little upside to this share, the pumpers and dumpers have to get rid of a huge number of outstanding warrants still.)

Here are a few suggestions for you to check out:
Vanadium - Bushveld Minerals (or almost any other Vanadium miner, this is THE metal to be in)
Platinum group metals - Sylvania Platinum, Jubilee Platinum
Lithium - BCN or EMH
Zinc and Tin - no suggestions, but good metals to be in
Gold - CEY (huge company, but seriously undervalued), HUM, for a punt SULA
I'm sure there are lots of other good companies out there. I'd welcome any suggestions to research in return!

This advice is of course biased - my money is where my mouth is on this list.

Strange range the share price is stuck in.... I'm sure there is a bit of manipulation going on!Definitely some news on the horizon, it's pretty obvious to tell that. Or some big buys not shown up yet.

Also why can't people understand that the rise after the drop is just part of the larger rise from Vast turning a corner with those RNS's just before Christmas ?
