20/7/2023 15:01 | thanks hybrasil, looks like it is so tightly held, spread widened now. COuld hit 50p at this rate today with more smaller buyers DYOR | qs99
20/7/2023 14:56 | John James. This share is into muck alright but “where’s there muck there’s brass” | hybrasil
20/7/2023 14:54 | QS I expect next weeks results will give the share price a whoosh | hybrasil
20/7/2023 14:52 | Full Offer being paid, so IMO, a few more purchases and this will head higher....DYOR | qs99
20/7/2023 14:23 | Nice moves ahead of update next week....DYOR | qs99
19/7/2023 10:32 | Tricky to buy stock. Got another 27.5k today | hybrasil
18/7/2023 21:55 | I was back in buying today. It seems to be great value here | hybrasil
06/7/2023 09:09 | Not pretty but when this happens I comfort myself by saying that I still hold the same proportion of this company. Nearly 2 years ago the cutlers were buying at .47p and I suspect (and hope) that the price will far exceed that as soon as the construction economy turns | hybrasil
14/4/2023 16:04 | It's optimistic expecting the UK economy to keep recovering. That said VANL is nicely positioned to benefit from smaller competitors going out of business. Any further weakness and I'm a buyer. | kinwah
14/4/2023 10:15 | Also muted response to todays RNS - just 35,672 shares traded today so far (by 10.15 hrs) Not a massive sell off, despite market makers dropping bid by 10%. A hold for me, for further recovery. | lammylover
14/4/2023 10:11 | Hybrasil - trust you are okay mate? VANL still moving in right direction, just a minor blip on road to recovery in my view. There was sticky patch in Feb / March and worries about banks folding, contagion etc, but I believe we are now passed this point. My read on the UK economy is that things are picking up. RICS survey this week suggests they expect house buys to improve later this year - this sent the share price of housebuilders up yesterday. Inflation in US gradually subsiding, dollar weakening and pound getting stronger. Hopefully HM Gov will resume roadworks on motorway widening and additional spending on rails as well, as economy improves. | lammylover
14/4/2023 09:10 | It remains dirt cheap. £5m+ profit before tax and the company is valued around or about the price of its assets. I can't see it staying on the stock market for long at this level. | hybrasil
14/4/2023 07:30 | Update measured which I like. Mark Cutler had previously been cautious because of the housing slowdown. 20% ahead of last year is pleasing | hybrasil
06/4/2023 10:57 | Indeed, have topped up, looks v. tightly held, small volume, nearly paying full offer...DYOR | qs99
05/4/2023 17:26 | Doubt it. It’s just value here | hybrasil
05/4/2023 16:04 | Unusual jump. Something in the offing? | qs99
15/3/2023 16:35 | No, nothing's changed with VANL business. Just the fear in the market following SVB collapse on Sunday and now worries over Credit Suisse bank etc. All stocks battered and with small AIM tiddlers like VANL, a few sales and the market makers open up the spread and drop bid hard.. On the positive side, its more likely now that the US Fed etc will be careful with the base rate rises and hopefully moderate their language so that they don't break anymore banks. Also gradually inflation is reducing, without stupid big increases in base rates that are more likely lead to recession, depression. Also a buying op for the brave! | lammylover
15/3/2023 16:11 | Down 4%, anything changed with the business? | qs99
23/2/2023 12:55 | gs - the market makers marked yssterday's closing price up by about 8% following a small uncrossing trade (approx 350 shares). There was then a sell of 10,0000 shares after the market closed. Today the market makers simply opened market with bid / ask price where it had been prior to the uncrossing trade at 1635 hrs. All a bit daft really! | lammylover
23/2/2023 12:12 | XD today, 0.4P Payment 17.03.23 | blueliner
23/2/2023 11:39 | Large seller shown to market or something else? zero volume, but marked down? | qs99

26/1/2023 07:32 | Can't see how the collapse of a groundworks contractor can be in any way an opportunity for Van Elle. In the unlikely event that some of their contracts included VE's modular foundations I hope that their clients, probably major builders, are buying the materials. | muckshifter |
