05/1/2018 10:30 | £1.20p with 3000bopd is only c £15m mcap and they would be throwing off £30m+ NP at that level with Brent at $65. I know we need to discount the 'Russia' issue but even at a 90% discount which is absurd due to them operating for many years there with little recent issues. I would suggest a mcap of £30m is about right now but that could even be on a forward p/E of less than 2x | keya5000

05/1/2018 10:19 | Just wanted to highlight the Regal Petroleum RNS today (sadly I don't hold). This is exactly the kind of news that we need UEN to issue. RPT announced a year on year production increase (of about 65%) that has led to a near 100% one day shareprice gain. Having looked at the RNS detail I'm sure that the this rise will continue and this will be a new base for RPT. Reason why I'm highlighting is this is exactly the sort of news we need for UEN. Forget about the CPR report and any licence acquisitions or the like these at best will just cause a temporary upward blip in the price. The only way that the shareprice will consistently rise and not drop back is for the company to drill successful wells and steadily increase daily/yearly production year on year. They have been banging on about doing this since 2010 after the temporary suspension of trading. The time to deliver is now - we've had 8+ years of consolidation/cost cutting and rebuilding of the company balance sheet which has sadly only seen further decline in the shareprice. The time is now for the management and Operational drilling teams to deliver. They are planning to drill 3 wells at South Dagi and hopefully will announce a JV drilling program at Komi (with an oil services company). There is also a planned major workover/fracking exercise at Arcticneft. I will be very disappointed if this time next year daily production isn't approaching 3000bopd with a shareprice well in excess of 120p. It's time for management to finally deliver for shareholders and not just keep the company ticking over - no more operational excuses. | djmoggy
02/1/2018 14:42 | That pretty much sums up my sentiment towards this company too. | martyn9
02/1/2018 14:05 | I'm in the same boat tone. At one point I was only a little adrift but am now about £24k down. Agree it would make some sort of sense to buy more at this price and trust it will come really good but I don't feel inclined too. Enough is enough sort of thinking from me. | chavitravi2
02/1/2018 11:33 | Topicel .I have done better with BMN and MATD , so overall 2017 was not a total disaster. Urals share has been my disappointing investment ( as for many I am sure ).At one point in 2017 I was over £30,000 up on the same amount of shares . I still have blind faith in UEN and will stick with my patience theory. Lots of possibilities here. A cleche but " a good time to buy " | tone the bone1
29/12/2017 10:27 | With my current deficit here being approx. £33,000 and my paid divi this year being £3,000. Using my lightning fast calculator type brain . I recon if the divi is maintained I will have my deficit money back by 2029. (Presuming I have not died by then). So life is not so bad after all. :-) !!!!!!! As always with UEN patience is the key. See you all 'on the rise' in 2018 after a successful well drill .lol. Happy New Year TTFN. Tone | tone the bone1

20/12/2017 19:10 | PIs would do well to take with a shovel of salt everything they are promised by the executives of any company, especially the smaller ones - the only thing that is worth taking notice of is RESULTS. I have known one or two cowboy builders in my time and they are dangerous because they are initially very credible, yet, over time, as their promises turn to excuses, it really is down to the client to determine when enough is enough - the cowboy will carry on lying till the bitter end. As the saying goes - fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. | amargosa
20/12/2017 17:25 | Still 60p to buy which says to me the seller is still there. | chavitravi2 |
