08/2/2017 19:20 | Chav. Stuff will start happening way before June IMHO | calmtrader
08/2/2017 17:52 | Frankly good people I have reluctantly come to the conclusion with this damp squid thrown in that we will probably have to wait till about June for this to climb again when hopefully there will be a good shipment at a good price and share price consolidated and a successful drilling result, and of course Allenby doing their job. I really do think with lots happening at the same time and plenty of trumpeting this will go to where it should be at last with much renewed interest from old and preferably new investors. What's a little more patience after all these years. | chavitravi2
08/2/2017 16:59 | Well done Topicel on the email front and it deserves a reply . I think that Quincy has gone which is no loss imo. My Question has gone about marketing but whether that gets an Answer is again questionable . We are small fry invested in a Russian Co. Lets hope we get scooped up by a big fish . | tone the bone1
08/2/2017 16:50 | They've managed to bring the share price back 25% from the 7p, maybe a bit more as it sits at 5.16p. They don't really encourage the likes of Canny Lass with that kind of 'market', do they? I'm sure Canny can take it, but the point is the rise was not excessive, reasonably controlled and still short of peer pricing and market caps with a positive set of intentions by the BoD recently issued and great geo-political improvements of late. The least they could have done is shown consistency and done nothing as every other time of share price wildness in UEN. Anybody make an alternative case, seeing as they will all remain silent??? 08/2/2017 16:44 | Out of interest, this was my missive: "The release of the RNS yesterday afternoon by the company to say it saw “no reason for the recent share price rise” is bewildering. You have never issued such a statement when the share price has shown significant weakness. Is it not the policy of the UEN board to see a stronger market valuation by share price on the AIM Exchange? Why are you deterring investors with such an announcement? As a longsuffering private investor I have been relieved that at last the market was recognising the progress the company has made in recent years and beginning to revalue it towards something approaching a realistic reflection of its earnings, debt situation and P2 reserves compared with its peers. So why would the UEN board reject an offer in October 2013 for 12.25p and now be seemingly unhappy that the open market price is approaching half that? Does the board have the best interests of all shareholders, small, medium and large, at heart? Sincerely, (bewildered)" Topicel | topicel
08/2/2017 16:40 | Lol at Allenby. I fired off three emails to them, the BoD and to the Q&A to ask what was the idea in stopping the price action when they never have before, nor when it goes south! Deafened by silence, as they say. Not holding my breath either, lol. Perhaps a few more should consider requesting an explanation, especially with that daft caveat afterwards about oil price strengthening and Russia becoming more flavour of the month...like we don't know that! Topicel | topicel
08/2/2017 16:37 | Triple agreed. Of course it was PIs. Of course the BoD didn't have to issue the statement. QED, they want it stable...for now. Who in their right mind thinks a penny stock on AIM is bought by anyone other than PIs once launched unless in a raising? Come on Paul the O, you know better than that! These are all the reasons, as stated by the company in the 18/1 RNS why they want to restructure the capital and bring it into the mainstream price wise. I'll eat humble pie gladly if anyone can show me a buyer here this last few weeks who is an insti or other investment vehicle. The buys are too small. We need news on the proposals and that is the continual trouble with UEN...they don't rush. I'll eat two slices of you get the 7p you forecast for this week. That is a closing price, btw. Meanwhile, accumulate as it drops and meet them halfway. Clearly plans are afoot sooner or later with UEN this year. Topicel | topicel
08/2/2017 15:33 | Agreed . " We "are stocked up with shares and await someone either spotting UEN or someone publishing the merits of Ural Energy to the wider world . Taking Topicel theory as correct this will be kept under wraps till a plan is set. Then maybe Allenby will earn their money and release all the positive plans and assets Urals have. The recent rise will hopefully force the companies hand to get on with it . This has been moving on small trades .One biggish new punter and they will loose their control of the price imo. | tone the bone1
08/2/2017 15:01 | PtO, I think it was for the most and for the most it was people already invested not new comers. New investors are the ones IMO who will now move this on hence Allenby must earn their money and get this seen. | chavitravi2
08/2/2017 14:23 | But Paul the O, I understand that thinking from PI point of view, but not from the BoD who, as I say, clearly want to raise cash after a restricting of the capital by attracting insti interest, not measly PIs... There is no other reason they'd have agreed to issuing the statement at 7p and rising on Monday lunchtime. It was to curb the price while they consider their options and do the schmoozing around the City. Why else? Thus your premise - correct on the US/Russia front - is contradicted because big boys would prefer access at 50-60p and not above one pound, surely? The gains would be bigger and impact greater. At the moment, as we can see from the poor volumes, not many are looking in other than us few. That's my take on it. The games will resume when they announce they are proceed with the Capital Reduction therefore your 7p,8p etc. plot is delayed IMHO. Hope I'm wrong and a bigger player is thinking of mucking up the plan as poor losers from a previous time. Enter Barskiy? Topicel | topicel
08/2/2017 14:15 | L2 still 3 v 1 I could see this finishing blue still with a little pushing lol. | gregpeck7
08/2/2017 13:53 | Tops, would rather prefer it 10p pre consolidation then £1 afterwords, that takes mcap above £20m and price over a pound, so cheap before many funds and instit loading in.if 2017 to be anything, it will be US positive attitude towards Russia, and US instit investors will be taking big stakes in Russian companies and more funding sources available for Russian companies; let aside price of oil and fx effects. | paul the octopus
08/2/2017 13:04 | Everyone's had a rest......time to go again.......?? | basem1
08/2/2017 11:50 | Grabbed 5000 more today... | gregpeck7
08/2/2017 11:10 | But some heavy lifting would negate the plan, and it may require more than PIs to do it gregpeck. There is still Barskiy types in the mix IMHO. Topicel | topicel
08/2/2017 11:06 | Canny, shift the 1 mate! Seems like you're the only one liquid. Joking aside, I reckon the same as RCT that we are likely to be range bound between 5-6p for a while for the reasons I've pointed out - the company needs a period of calm while it considers the Capital Reduction. They don't want a galloping price - although the market might see things differently yet - until they are restructured and ready. That is my take on the price movement statement. So, say, average price over five days for the one for ten would put this at 50-60p and then it will be let go backed by bigger funders and institutional interest towards a pound. But when have UEN been quick at much? Topicel | topicel
08/2/2017 10:08 | 3 v 1 still l2Wants to move up | gregpeck7
08/2/2017 09:51 | Pulling back a little ground. It would be good to see some blue when I next check in a couple of hours. | canny lass
08/2/2017 09:48 | RobfitzSorry, the 65K was not in UEN, it was another stock. I did purchase though over 5K again later in the afternoon about 6.4p. | canny lass
08/2/2017 09:36 | Canny Lass, I must admit I was gobsmacked at your initial post (19325) as you said you bought £100K at 6p..... and then a further £65k. I was thinking that is some amount of money!!!!!! Still 100k and 65K (no £ sign) is still a good investment much larger than mine only 60K. Good luck to all. | robfitz
08/2/2017 09:32 | Thanks basem1Apologies to you RC Turner. | canny lass
08/2/2017 09:28 | ......even though it did show as a sell I meant to add. | basem1
08/2/2017 09:22 | I think he meant that's the ceiling for now. No one doubted your buy. I counted it as a buy yesterday when I worked out the buys to sells ratio. | basem1
08/2/2017 09:20 | RC Turner2 Not sure if you are referring to my post above. If you are i can aasure you that the 6.0p trade for 100K shares at approximately 11.09 is my buy, despite being shown as a sell on the ADVFN monitor.
