02/2/2017 21:18 | Brilliant update, will try and grab a small amount as soon as it opens as I can see this adding another penny at least... | gregpeck7
02/2/2017 20:41 | Djmoggy. Excellent update...going to try and add a few tomorrow | calmtrader
02/2/2017 20:18 | Good reasoning Paul the O. Six pence has indeed been ticked this week and with luck will hold tomorrow despite profit takers who won't be concerned about the bigger picture as they are traders and who might not know the value to unfold here. If the rest of your progress report is matched then you shall attain super guru status in a thrice. Personally I suspect if we see early interest tomorrow that much more than 7p will come next week... Only then will my own LTH average be met, and many others, including Adler, have far higher purchases to cover. Tightly held most stock is! Topicel | topicel
02/2/2017 20:04 | Canny please don't tempt fate :) | looneytune

02/2/2017 18:57 | Tops, my 10p is just first brain barrier to break as it moves share price to 2 and mcap above £20m, close above 10p means a whole lot of new game combined with any hint of positive news then fast forward to teens and above. | paul the octopus
02/2/2017 18:43 | djmoggyThanks for that translated article. | canny lass
02/2/2017 18:40 | Budget/LooneyAs long as this board is not polluted by 'Superted'. I couldn't handle him on two boards that I frequent. MTA is one board too many. Yes hopefully the end of March will be Prosperous for both UEN and MTA. | canny lass
02/2/2017 18:14 | As per my reasoning in posts #18896 and #19000 it seems that UEN is pressing ahead with making plans at Arcticneft. There was a presentation given today by the Arcticneft management to the governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (which is a federal district of Russia containing Kolgev Island) to, I presume, get necessary federal approval for these plans. Sadly the Russian article does not go into detail of the development plans or timeframe and the translation is sketchy at best. But good to see the company is moving ahead in the right direction! I've copied the translated text below. Arktineft plans to increase production at Peschanoozerskoye gas condensate field (gas condensate field) on a Kolguev in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (NAO). On this February 2, 2017 Mr. CEO Arktikneft S. Ermolaev told the head of the NAO MI Koshkin. According to S. Ermolaeva in the future the company intends to ship from the field 2 oil tankers per year. In addition to increasing production, S. Ermolaev I. Koshkin and discussed future plans of the company for infrastructure development Peschanoozerskoye condensate field, build oil and questions accumulated environmental damage. At the NAO Arcticneft more than 10 years. In 2016 the company became the sole subsoil user Peschanoozerskoye field. Previously, she developed eastern and western parts, the central part owned Zarubezhneft . However, the fate Arktkitknefti same complex as that Peschanoozerskoye. Previously, the company was under the wing of LUKOIL, but in 2004 LUKOIL sold its British of Urals the Energy . 02/2/2017 18:03 | I'll drink to that! | looneytune
02/2/2017 17:50 | looneytune, agreed - the optimist in me would suggest that it could be a good couple of months for both! | budgetbond
02/2/2017 17:43 | Cheers Budget, let's hope for a stronger outcome in the short term! | looneytune
02/2/2017 17:38 | What I am saying with regards to letting stock go, is this Low caps with small free floats (read here) also gulfsands is another good example, tend to need to hit 20 to 30 mill market cap to get liquidity as often stock is tightly held.. seems that way here..I expect the stock situation to loosed as we hit 20 to 25 million mcap...Also many people are still underwater here so no incentive to sell..Just the way I see thingsBear in mind volume is still very low.. if this gets picked up I can see it doing a 50 to 100 percent rise in a day and then steadying out as people take positions...Gp | gregpeck7
02/2/2017 17:17 | Martyn, those closing buys are also in small amounts, relatively speaking, again alluding to the tightly held stock we'd expect from Adler's 'safe' 44%, wouldn't you say? They were probably held back all day too as they were not getting the sellers without raising the price. I, and others, were not able to buy for long periods... Finally, has anyone yet received their communication from UEN on the Capital Reduction? I keep checking the post but so far nowt. No doubt plenty of insiders are trying to get what stock they can before this becomes better known about. Say a ten-for-one buyback and a price north of 60p would transform us from being a penny stock that institutions can't play with...and hence divvies too. The intention is no doubt to raise big funding from then on. No wonder this is attracting stealthy interest and not being let go in the usual pump and dump fashion. It is a transformatory moment. 02/2/2017 17:11 | looneytune, great to see you on here mate. With calmtrader here as well, its like Matra on tour :) | budgetbond
02/2/2017 17:07 | In the closing minutes the spread went to 6.00-6.25. That says to me they want your shares. I reckon it will be a good close for the week tomorrow. GLA. Would 20p for the end of the month be unrealistic? Reckon it may be on for end of tax year with any luck. | chavitravi2
02/2/2017 17:07 | Gregpeck, can you explain what you mean about MMs not letting many fill up "down here"? Because you sense a large buy in the background or simply, as I suspect, there is little float about to allow more than small buys as too many - including Adler even - have losing holdings. Topicel | topicel
02/2/2017 17:06 | Also got in earlier Calm, cheers! | looneytune
02/2/2017 16:35 | good man budget | calmtrader
02/2/2017 16:28 | A swarm of closing buys!! interesting days ahead. | martyn9
02/2/2017 16:28 | calmtrader, looks like your optimism has been well founded! I've picked up another nice chunk today | budgetbond
02/2/2017 16:09 | The mcap is silly low I honestly can't actually believe it.. such a small amount of buys driving this mm's will not let many fill up down here. | gregpeck7
02/2/2017 16:01 | 50k shrs is what each of the (only) 4 mm's offer at UEN, each a different sp, starting at (as I type) at 6p, 6p, 6.25p, 6.75p. They are each offering the NMS for UEN. So they are keeping their offerings "tight" and will be able to change with ease, according to the supply/demand for shrs. If you can buy more than 50k at the best ask, that's only because it happened to suit one of those, at that moment. gl f | fillipe
02/2/2017 15:56 | I've just paid 6p - well worth it because this isn't stopping | budgetbond |
