It's always a concern when the word "hope" is used! Shares like UEN & MTA are almost impossible to predict. It's just a gamble. Too many people know more about what's happening before us worker ants!

What's with the 49990/993/996 trades. Too much of a coincidence that along with the 24990's A strange pattern. Let's hope the buyers return tomorrow.

It's just churn from traders - 7p was tested, breached but momentum hamstrung by the RNS and so traders sold up... MM trying to take advantage of the RNS/sell by using an exaggerated drop to get out a few more trigger happy traders.

It's all healthy enough - we'll be back to test 7p sooner rather then later - this could be taken as an opportunity to top up!

What ever who ever instigated rns it hasn't stopped people buying. The value is there to be seen by one and all and they want in. When it comes on folks radar anything can happen and if anything that rns will do just that IMO.

Mum requested topic.. they will have pressured broker based on the share price rise to release an rns, which as others have said is normally if you double in a day , not when you creep higher from a very low mcap..Stinks of mm's needing stock to me... they cannot play this card again though.. rns has been issued and not had the desired effect imo.

I dont recall RNS's being issued when the price was dropping so have to LOL. I go with the sentiment the mm's must be struggling. I've held for a long time and now a profit but will now look to add more just due to this. Always had faith in UEN but Russia as a place to invest has made me nervous.

definitely market requested UEN via Broker to release RNS...I for one not buying for or hoping for a bid..

Equally, the "see no reason" type RNS is usually after significant rises of large percentages. Quite clearly this is just pent up demand and steady accumulation pressure from tightly held shares, entirely different.

It was not much more than 15% today, hardly earth-shattering. And the 140% since New Year is also nothing dramatic considering the beaten down nature. So, I do think it is not what the company wishes to see until they have organised the capital reduction on their terms.

Somehow I don't quite think they've got that much power once Mr. Market starts sniffing profit...

Gregpeck - the only card? The company or the MMs? And have you experienced MMs 'demanding' such an RNS to effect a shake elsewhere? What power would they have over Urals, or would it be the house broker that would bend the BoD's ear?

I question the company as, if you were them and had a capital reduction plan underway you wouldn't want the price getting ahead of itself too fast, would you? That is why I'm doubtful of MM involvement...

But you seem confident and if it does indeed begin the 'games' in earnest then let's be having it. Lol.

Basem1It seems okay now. Just a blip I think. It's an odd RNS to release given how undervalued the market capital of the company is. We know there is unlikely to have been any significant changes in the last month. It's the future that I am buying for.
