canny i may aload of money on 88e from 1.2 to 3.6 where the market cap became silly and still is( compare it to UEN and 88e haven't produced a drop of oil yet crazy..

Nice Calm, I tried another dummy buy and most offered online was £50K. I have just offloaded a few stocks I held that are not performing BBY, 88E and MYN. I might dip my toe in again later today.

Canny Lass/Calm Trader - nice one. I'd do the same, but have to be content with holding, as very heavily into AST. The price for this stock seems to be so sensitive to buys at the moment. Seems to want to reflect increased market cap (and rightly so in my opinion). Be great to see this one creep up by 5-10% per day... no more than that - so that it stays under the radar as far as possible...

I'm a bit behind the door with the tax thing see as I have never made a profit, been in the same two shares for about 9yrs and still worth less than I paid. Lousy investor or what.

Re volume - if you don't include the bed and ISAs trading today was actually a quite thin at around 225k with just under 1/2 of that sells. And yet we still managed a reasonable gain. As ever with this share there is very little free float and it doesn't take much to move it quickly. More than happy to see slow steady rise though.

I've had this share on my watch list for 7 years - I'm finally satisfied its going to move in the right direction and have piled in. Volume has been much higher today than recent times

Thanks Tone, interesting collection of shares. THAL has pulled back a little to 63p after hitting 70p. The company are buying back shares so hopefully all good in the long run. They need to get some more good numbers from the business at the next set of results to get it moving.

No I don't mean in ISA, I mean just in ordinary share account. The last I knew it was about £11k you could make before paying tax on the rest.

This is my biggest holding but I also have almost as much £ in Lloyds and BMN Smaller amounts in Solg AIB.Royal mail.pFD and just sold out at a loss from RBS .I only post on here as I rather like the people .How is Thal ? A pound soon I hope
