30/10/2023 12:03 | No. If the shares were to be suspended it would have happened at 07:30m this morning. | pwhite73
30/10/2023 12:03 | From a global resource perspective, Upland is also uniquely positioned to open new plays in Block SK334 in Sarawak and return very significant value to investors. We are fully focused on building significant value for our investors through the execution of our defined strategy being the successful development of Block SK334. For the benefit of those new to the company, this reads to me like.... If you thought Limbang was good, wait until you see Lawas. As if 1B+, plus gas wasn't enough, look to the east for the next phase. This is a mid cap co in the making, currently trading at a pittance. The rise will be epic, all anyone has to do is look at what's coming in the next few weeks and get their calculators out. | throwingmuses
30/10/2023 12:02 | The FCA won't suspend, there's no reason to. The more interesting question is will the FCA approve the next prospectus? Their tactic with similar companies more recently has been to keep finding problems with the prospectus and never approving it until the company is forced to fold. | jaknife
30/10/2023 11:54 | will fca investigate the bid? | stockhunters
30/10/2023 11:52 | oilisgold - "A large number of shorts were opened on Friday before the fake RNS." Which Friday are you talking about. If it was Friday 20th why would shorters open shorts knowing a fake takeover RNS was coming Monday 23rd raising the price. If it was Friday 27th how would shorters know the company was going to put out a retraction on Friday when they had a whole month to play with the fake news. Too many people talking absolute rubbish. | pwhite73
30/10/2023 11:48 | Make your losses back from WSBN ...WISHBOURNE GOLD Plenty of newsflow due Luckily I just lost £100 here but I feel sorry for those who lost thousands and thousands | riskyinvestor
30/10/2023 11:40 | It is clear from the RNS UPL are liaising with a number of parties regarding Block SK334. The offer could have scuppered much of the progress they had made particularly with the regulatory body PETROS. If all 100 million warrants were exercised at 0.4p UPL would have pocketed £400k that's all. Anybody who still thinks they were behind the fakeover scam directly or indirectly is utterly nuts. | pwhite73
30/10/2023 11:29 | Loads of delayed trades now published from FRIDAY! Internet must have been down... | babbler

30/10/2023 10:56 | No - they haven't notified the market that they have sold them yet. You do know what happens to them if they don't notify? Absolutely nothing. | loglorry1
30/10/2023 10:55 | And if the Directors don't purchase - what then? | kirtonender9
30/10/2023 10:52 | They havent sold them yet, the directors. This is greenfield project and upl have even not got the licence yet, how can this be valued at 30m mkt.Overvalued. | neo26
30/10/2023 10:36 | "What steps did the renowned and highly rated management team take before they issued the "Response to Speculation" RNS?" They loaded up on 0.4p warrants! | loglorry1
30/10/2023 09:35 | I would be interested to know. What steps did the renowned and highly rated management team take before they issued the "Response to Speculation" RNS? They must have done some due diligence. There must be more to it than "I have a piece of paper in my hand". They should let shareholders know. Be careful. | helpfull
30/10/2023 09:14 | PW knows! Another one called correctly. | kemche
30/10/2023 09:10 | richsif - "After all that effort it's fair to say the shorters will be absolutely gutted" These people don't exist at this end of the market. MM can short stock knowing they will soon receive discount placing shares and that's about it. The shorters you refer to are spread betters. It is a fact that 70% - 80% of spread betters lose their money. Its not true that everybody seems to be winning except longs. At this end of the market the only winners are the companies that place discount stock, everybody else loses that's how the market stays alive by systematically taking our money. Occasionally a PI will get lucky with a life changing bagger and that's why we're all here. | pwhite73
30/10/2023 09:06 | Did the job to offload all those warrants, well played management | katsy
30/10/2023 09:04 | That's why the board said 14p significantly undervalues the company. | haggismchaggis
30/10/2023 09:02 | "VERY SIGNIFICANT"."From a global resource perspective, Upland is also uniquely positioned to open new plays in Block SK334 in Sarawak and return very significant value to investors." | haggismchaggis
30/10/2023 09:00 | "bwtfdik".Nothing, apparently. | haggismchaggis
30/10/2023 08:59 | After all that effort it's fair to say the shorters will be absolutely gutted this morning. share price pretty much in the range it was 10-14 days ago. | richsif
30/10/2023 08:59 | Absolutely! Late November big rise on the cards. UPL in a great position, just need to get the low life off its back. | haggismchaggis
30/10/2023 08:57 | So 14p in the hand is worth a lot less than potential in the bush? I don’t get it myself | judijudi |
