28/10/2023 12:47 | The AGM will be box office in December with new shareholders foaming at the mouth Half tempted to go! I'll be able to pick up a share for 0.5p ? | truant2tb1
28/10/2023 11:07 | Careful loglorry, this statement could be deemed to be libellous! | hoper1
28/10/2023 11:01 | Hi. all , in this case shares traded should be canceled or not? | alibulut
28/10/2023 10:44 | Always grounds for suspicion when you see batches of cheapo warrants being exercised. Great opportunity to make big money on the hype and spike. Insiders taking advantage, sounds like corruption. 10m exercised at 0.4p and sold at 5p = a nifty trousering of near on half a million quid. Nice work if you can get it. | dr rosso
28/10/2023 10:40 | Thank you Log and Jacknife for your detailed and straight posting this week. I have been watching this con unfold from the sidelines and you two have hopefully kept naive PIs from putting money, or too much, into this by posting hard facts. Well done. | pogue
28/10/2023 09:49 | As the dust settles on the Upland Resources fake bid scandal some are now asking; is this the biggest market manipulation/pump & dump of a UK plc since Worthington Group? Market Manipulation The disclosure of inside information should be precise in nature. The information should be full and complete and free from errors. Delay of disclosing the information is allowed if the issuer sees fit, provided that it does not result in the public being misled, including if 'foul-play' is suspected. Section 89 (Making misleading statements) The offense is committed if a person knowingly makes a false or misleading statement or is reckless as to whether such conduct may fraudulently induce others to transact. Any offense under this section carries a maximum punishment of 7 years’ imprisonment and/or an unlimited fine. | dead duck resources
28/10/2023 09:03 | Several posters were adamant there was an actual offer and that a higher offer would be along shortly. Where are they now? This was an odd share even before the offer debacle. Have they ever said they have a stake in the Sarawak block? Have they ever said why they were spending money on studies into a block where they seemingly had no announced stake? Then there's been the share price action. They actually issue a separate RNS just saying they are looking at a rig. That's it. So what? But buying ensues. What's that all about? The bod said 14p undervalued "the potential" of the company. They seem to have done nothing to check the approach out. At best they were naive amateurs. So I never understood this share. But if you were the Sarawak government, would you trust these people to explore a potentially large field? | buffinman
28/10/2023 09:01 | Sub 2p according to the charts and most probably on Monday morning! | apotheki
28/10/2023 08:51 | The management of the company issued a "post close" RNS on a Friday. Ask yourself why. Classical behaviour. Time over the weekend for the mug punter to blow his anger away and then start rationalizing the shenanigans of the past week. The share price never moved to meet the 14p potential offer. It got nowhere near it. An indication that nobody took it seriously. But some made use of it. Did anyone see: "recent media speculation concerning the possibility of an offer being made for the entire issued and to be issued share capital of Upland"? It would be useful to see what the company was referring to. And at what level. I wonder if any resignations are going to occur on Monday. If not, it might mean the management are quite happy with what has gone on this week and their part in it. Be careful. | helpfull
28/10/2023 08:50 | michaelwhight - MM will play games but this is not material news that would cause the price to tank and stay down permanently. A low ball placing, a dry well, warnings about late accounts, being sued, a decision to delist, warnings about financial status, these are matters that cause a price to tank. The withdrawal of an offer is not one of them unless the price reflected the offer price. The price never reflected the offer price of 14p in the first place. It closed at 4.5p when it was 3p before the offer news. The news was released on Friday evening so investors will have the whole weekend to sleep on it. I believe this will have less of an impact then if the news was released 07:00 Monday, but we shall see. You are quite right about faith in the management. The pressure is on for them to repair the damage caused to their reputation. | pwhite73
28/10/2023 08:33 | I think there will a fall to pre offer price plus a discount for the lack of faith in the management. Unless shares are suspended or there is some material news. | michaelwhight
28/10/2023 08:22 | Just had a browse of the Upland Resources London South East page. Completely delusional over there. They still think this is worth 3p!! What's worse, they still trust the BOD and that there's lots of big news items to come before Christmas, so everything will be fine; just got to put them in the bottom drawer for six months. "So this bogus approach of potential offer, has simply become a very short-term hindrance.." My favourite one. All the usual claptrap really. They are total amateurs on that site. Would bring a tear to a glass eye. | 2prsimo
28/10/2023 07:35 | Amazing that some of the bulls think this is only going back to pre fake approach levels of 3p. There's clear evidence BoD have orchestrated a fake take over story to flush warrants and enrich insiders. Yet even now they still want to trust them with their money. I don't think you can trust a word that comes out of their mouths. | loglorry1
28/10/2023 07:01 | Nobody will do it, but I think those promoting the shorting of this stock should be looked at very closely indeed | bmwman3

27/10/2023 21:28 | haggismchaggis - "meanwhile the shorting lowlife" These people don't exist. There are spread betters but CFD firms by law have to publish that 70% - 80% of their clients lose money. At this end of the market virtually everything is going down, if you could bet on it you'd be a millionaire. Don't assume everybody here who was shouting 'scam' had a spread bet on it. I suspect nobody did. | pwhite73

27/10/2023 20:44 | Blah blah blah. Spend all night talking to yourself, see if anyone cares. It's obvious all you are trying to do is drown out anything of interest from other posters, you sad sad shorting lowlife.
