Absolutely, and the only thing that makes any sense is that he really means it, and I think he does! He must be relishing coming in at this stage, what a chance to turn this around and enhance what already appears to be an excellent reputation. Waiting for things to click into gear on a number of fronts and topping up while I do so, expecting this to be a whole different animal soon.

I did indeed and am a buyer at this price too.I made (more luck than anything else) the right decision to exit and have now got back in cheaper on average. I will give the new CEO time to get fully into the driving seat and get au fait with the vehicle controls and yes, I have my seatbelt on!

theowingmuses he has been in the business long enough to know that, it's not his first day in mining. So using that remark, and others, he must have had an idea what he could do quickly.
If he didn't he is as full of BS as the previous CEO.

I think we need to give CP a chance here, seatbelt comment or not he can only progress things as quick as other factors allow. Thinking about the CEO change, the fact he's a deal maker, the Jersey switch, I just wonder what the large investors plans are. Could they be looking for an exit quicker than we might have imagined? Or looking to get the ball rolling in Tunisia and exit there, concentrating on Malaysia? Certainly seems to be work on a number of angles here, any one of which if we get a deal over the line could be transformational. Let's hope there's something tangible before the AGM.

Well it's a brave man to call that one. I remember tyler coming back and saying it was buying time at 1.75p.

I had some sympathy with that view so who would have thought we would have dropped to 1.25p on the bid.

Who knows what is going on but while ever good news remains a mirage then the share price will come under pressure.

But keep your seat belt on just in case 😆

Looks like this could be a turnaround. 1.3 was surely rock bottom.

Divmad not Aim but I get the sentiment.

Upl has become one of those AIM enigma situations where it remains moribund for around 350 days a year, but might attempt a short sharp rally for the remaining few days, based on some whispered operational activity. Just use the opportunity to exit is my advice.

Maybe we'll be able to buy below Optiva's exercised warrants price. Just in time for Black Friday :)

All if and buts at the moment until we get something concrete and that is how it is being valued after SS was shown the door.

... the Saouaf Licence is estimated by the independent Competent Person, Blackwatch Petroleum Services Limited, to hold recoverable resources of approximately 2 TCF of gas and 42 MMbbl oil across thirteen prospects and leads ...... unsolicited expressions of interest have already come from several companies, including major international and national oil & gas companies ...... and yet the market cap is back to where it was three years ago.WTF?

Maybe a seatbelt ride from 1p to 2p and CP can claim to have doubled the SP
