Link to conference call:-

Good to know there is unlikely to be dilution until some time next year and after some share price changing news.

KAV

By all accounts Mikes Moles is now at the drill site on the northern part of the KSZ with Hillary Gumbo and the whole local KAV team. A live from drill site interview with Mike Moles is planned for early next week. Very exciting times!

Conference call link on lse. On you tube. Sounds good so will see if anything changes from the long periods of malaise that we have seen this far.

Yes there is soulsauce. The share price has dropped because the doctor left and there is a void to fill. If CP doesn't start communicating through official channels the share price will continue to drop.

We need to arrest the tide and then setup appropriate deals.

nlmbidc an operational update would be nice but it needs to be accompanied by something tangible.
No point updating if still nothing is happening on either of the big projects.

Needs an operational update once CP has established where we are with e erything.

Well, I'd hope the law professor is elected rather than a media mogul currently in prison for money laundering and tax fraud!

I don't suppose the result of the Tunisian election will have any major impact on Upland?hTTps://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-50032460

Meaningless? May be but stings just the same and no one falling over themselves to buy at this low level.

Tiny volumes today and therefore share price action pretty much meaningless...

Indeed tyler.

I suppose we are still in the interim period of some still selling on the news that SS has gone, or it may be SS himself.
Unfortunately we haven't got the uplift on the new CEO like we see with a new football manager so as good as the private conference call apparently was, there have not been the buyers to back it up.

Hopefully we will get some news soon that will get us at least back to 2p for now.

Well for somebody who was supposed to hit the 'ground running' according to those who heard the new CEO, the share price has not benefited which I suppose was one of the frustrations of the big investors on the board

...with the slight caveat to nlmbidc understanding that it would depend on the voting rights agreed by partners when they bid.

If each partner has a veto, Upland can slow plans. If it's a straight majority of equity vote, then if Baron and Corallian are like-minded, they can push on and UPL would have to put up or take alternative action

Thanks backbone and clingfilm.

What I don't get is, as I understand it the plan after Wick has always been Sarawak and Tunisia (or Tunisia and Sarawak) and the new north sea assets third as they are at a very early stage so not sure why that would lead to SS being pushed out?

The North Sea timetable will be driven by the operator Corralian. UPL will then have to fund their percentage or off-load.

Soul the intention is to focus on near term stuff with a v good COS. Ie Tunisia and (hopefully) Sarawak n Malaysia.

Early stage and much longer term and more risky exploration (NS) is off the table. For the foreseeable. Rightly or wrongly that’s what I’m hearing.

Must dash, Mrs. Almighty will be late back from the Sunday sowing club and I have strict instructions to fire up the roast. Prob take about 2 hours which strangely coincides with her majesty’s ETA later :/

Thanks backbone but they wouldn't have been funding another Wick. Anything drilling wise from the North Sea is well behind Tunisia and Sarawak. Unless they were on about 3d etc. But whatever we have those north sea licences now so whoever is pulling the strings will be expected to do the minimum work on them as per the agreement.

I hear, correctly or incorrectly, the reason for docs resignation is cornerstone investor Tune didn’t want another Wick on their hands with the NSea assets, and refused to fund it having previously funded Wick. Too risky for them. Best focus on much better odds in Tunisia n Sarawak - AND, further afield in Malaysia.
