Preliminary estimates suggest Block SK334 contains similar resources to neighbouring billion-barrel Seria field equivalent in scale to some of 🇪🇺 largest offshore Oil & Gas fields

(NB) Block SK334 is ONshore

Confirmation of the quanta of share purchases

Big Oil Ventures invested £8000 on shares... surely they could use the money themselves? Anyway, I guess it's a small vote of confidence that one day it will be £80,000 :-D

Just been looking at this ADVFN don't have correct amount of shares out their so market cap is false they have. The number of shares in issue immediately after Admission of the New Ordinary Shares is 1,101,268,853. For the purpose of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, following Admission the enlarged issued share capital of the Company will comprise 1,101,268,853 Ordinary Shares. The Company does not hold any shares in treasury. So this is valued at about 7 million not 4.5 million what ADVFN are showing they came to market at .06p so anything over .07p their Gojng to dump with a small profit

Well good news nonetheless. Keep the news coming and breach 0.8 and then we can head back to 1.2.

It certainly looks interesting. And the postcode, especially the bit they are concentrating on, look very promising. But how will they find exploration/appraisal without getting a partner involved? Knowing what we know about Malay system - this could take years, while they go on a world rig-watching tour.Cash

Still waiting for some solid volumetrics.
If that field is as big as they think it is then this could be massive but we have been here before with lil ol upl.
Fingers crossed this time.

Johnyee - it sounds great, but it doesn't become reality until some money is found to prove it. If UPL can achieve that without dilution, then the share price should respond

Shocked that the share price is so low.

- Preliminary estimates suggest that Block SK334 contains similar resources to those found in the neighboring billion-barrel Seria field, equivalent in scale to some of Europe's largest offshore Oil & Gas fields.

Thanks Henry

It's a bit of a mixed picture - it's published in late July, yet refers to things that are "planned for mid June".

The seismic and FTG number crunching appear to now be complete, though 3 months late. Nevertheless, the prospect analysis has started on time, and the FDP is earlier than provisioned- tricky to see how you can write an FDP before you've identified a prospect, let alone a field, but that's what's shown there!

There's insufficient granularity in the bar chart to determine progress on the modelling. Not many milestones due in July, so I'm not sure we'll get an update

Geology knows no man-made boundaries - collaborative talks star with Brunei's authorities, adjacent to UPL's Sarawak licence.

No End-June progress update though

Thanks Michaelwhight

"Can-road-kick" is my first thought. Disappointing, though not unexpected, that UPL couldn't share it promptly with (both?) their remaining shareholders.

Farm out of this licence was about the only dial-turner I could foresee this year.

Given the (previous) deadline, and the statement in February "[CPR] is an essential step in the farmout campaign which is already in-process and which is thus far attracting interest from other industry parties" I thought we'd be hearing about a company with more money signing up to drill a well.

Now there's a further work programme to carry out where "The aim is to further reduce pre-drill risks and volumetric uncertainty before re-engaging with potentially interested third parties in respect of drilling an exploration well

So it's back into the long grass for 2 years
