From BOIL RNSAs announced on 15 November 2022, the technical work programme over the Dunrobin and Golspie complex of prospects is now largely complete, and Baron is working with the licence operator, Reabold North Sea, to complete the re-evaluation of Prospective Resources and potential commerciality of any future discovery.The Baron board reaffirms its belief that the western part of the Dunrobin complex (the "Dunrobin West" prospect) is potentially a drillable prospect where an initial exploration well on the P2478 licence could target approximately 100 MMbbl of gross Mean Prospective Resources (non SPE PRMS compliant). Due to the shallow nature of an exploration well on Dunrobin West (approximately 800 metres total depth), gross drilling costs to test such a substantial volume are likely to be modest at approximately GBP8 million. In addition, success on Dunrobin West would de-risk potential follow ups on Dunrobin Central, East and Golspie analogous prospects.A joint farmout campaign is underway and we look forward to announcing the results of the subsurface re-evaluation during February 2023.

The new guy on the board seems to have a good pedigree.

He's never going to have the time (and they can't afford him) to get stuck right into the nitty gritty of model building and analysis, so let's hope they can use him wisely to shape direction, identify risks and opportunities, do cold eyes reviews, and use his contacts network to their advantage

"The Notice requested the replacement by Upland of an expired bank guarantee of US$1M on or before 5 November 2022...

Since the announcement issued on 21 July 2022, the Board of Pennpetro has been awaiting confirmation from its Upland counterparts that the expired bank guarantee has been replaced, enabling Pennpetro to move forward with its plans for the near-term development of the Saouaf Permit. However, the Pennpetro Board received neither confirmation that the bank guarantee had been replaced by the Upland Board or confirmation that the deadline had not been met by Upland"


It's a concern that if this deal fell through cos UPL couldn't pony up the bond so PPP walked away, then how is Saoauf going to be renewed?

Maybe the focus of the new presentation on Sarawak alone also points to this eventuality?
