05/7/2012 16:19 | Largest Buy for a while today at well over the bid. Not massive value but good to see nevertheless. | toback
01/7/2012 11:26 | I wish coz I said it - it was such. Still software companies can trade on 20x easily. Course they have to deliver and the market needs to improve but 5p this year I am hoping for (everything crossed). | toback
30/6/2012 14:42 | ToBack - Does this mean you have it at 38 in 6 years - LOL!!! | loganair
30/6/2012 13:52 | I have this as 19 in 3 years if they continue modest improvement in sales and cut debt further. Should be able to more or less hold costs here. | toback

30/6/2012 11:51 | I'm just hoping if this improvement continues the slight possibility of a small dividend in a couple of years, even if it is just 0.1p per share. Once this happens this share will start to become of interest to more people an increase in the share price to the 5p level or even may be a couple of pennies higher. And why not 16p five years from now. | loganair
26/6/2012 15:22 | It might be possible . . . one day. | toback
26/6/2012 10:30 | Wow, I might get the 16p I paid years ago! | bobby.ifa
26/6/2012 10:23 | From the last 6 month update we had the following: "The Group has reported an operating profit before exceptional items of GBP280,000" and "An EBITDA of GBP726,000 (2010: GBP890,000) is reported for the period which is sufficient to cover interest costs of GBP145,000 (2010: GBP146,000), software development expenditure of GBP286,000 (2010: GBP162,000) and scheduled debt repayments." So from the AGM statement "I am pleased to report that trading in the new financial year to date is ahead of the comparable period last year and in line with market expectations." I reckon we are getting close to Op Profit of £0.5m for the half year with slightly lower debt costs and better trading. I have previously said that we could get to £1m by year end. Giving an EPS of 1. 5p would not be unreasonable in any normal market . . . . | toback
04/4/2012 12:02 | So it looks from the results that they are trading at 4x pre-exceptional costs. Debt also down. So a good set of results. Lots of confidence as they expect to step sales up this year. And there will be further benefit from reduced financing costs. If no re-org costs and further increases profit could easily be over £1m here this year. With EPS at the 1p level. Options of 5p look fairly safe. | toback
30/3/2012 09:26 | Some interest here that has now moved me into profit. Must be because preliminary announcement due. If they are doing well we should see this on less than4x earnings possibly as low as 2x. | toback
08/3/2012 18:21 | I spoke to Goddard recently and I got the impression that business was very much on the turn.He confirmed that he had worked with Mcleod over the years and regarded him as a "class act"Mcleod's share buying can only be seen as a vote of confidence. This has to be a potentially interesting recovery situation. | thorne3
03/2/2012 14:53 | 2m shares at 1.5p = only £30,000. Stephen McLeod Zero Cost Options of 3,360,000 shares (£167,200 @ 5p per share) if the share price is 5p or above. | loganair
27/1/2012 15:45 | A further 2m director buy.Rock bottom price.Hopefully the floor. | addict
13/1/2012 09:00 | Wow!!! 700,000 shares = only around £10,000. Now that's really a show of confidence!!! | loganair

11/1/2012 19:42 | WHY THE TICK UP? | giardap
05/1/2012 09:51 | One of my worst too. I see someone is giving up this morning. I wonder what the larger holders are thinking here? Brulines invested at 5x this price | davidosh
17/6/2011 09:49 | At the rate of debt repayment, Universe should be debt free in 4 years which will save around £360,000 in interest payments. Currently with the debt slowly being paid off is reducing their interest charges by around £80,000 per year which can go straight to the bottom line as profit. | loganair
16/6/2011 17:26 | Well new chairman now - bit of a takeover at the top. | toback
26/5/2011 11:31 | From their background you have to wonder if they are going to become a vehicle for something else. I heard the previous guy fell out over strategy and funding - there were offered some cash to develop the business but for some reason was not attractive. | toback
25/5/2011 22:49 | A new CEO and non exec director but they seem to have arrived on the same bus and are both from the same company as in past directorships so who is behind this move ?? Has it been orchestrated by a large shareholder, the brokers, the Chairman and board or even the new directors themselves bringing something or new business to the party and introduced to Universe. Anyone know anything about the resignation of Peter Cooper ? | davidosh |
