A share price movement of this size over a short period often brings out a company statement - even if only "Know no reason".

Just over a million.

I can only assume that he did not sell the whole holding because
he knew who was buying them and wanted to keep a small stake incase
they get bought out, a million shares is still a lot of money especially
if long term they go back to double figures or receive a bid.

This outfit is turning the corner but remains strapped for cash to develop it's true potential-see recent results. That's what's so appealing for a predator. It ranks high on my list of bid candidates. As always,DYOR

Yes, each time that has happened there has been a premium buy and
they switch higher, mm's have not gained any stock though, with the
buys at 4.75p today, the 38k premium at 5.25p and the 90k at 5.5p
from Friday they are still short of stock.

3 v 1- does that mean there are 3 orders to buy to one willing to sell?

Bit of profit taking, 4.75p is a lot better than 3p last week
so i expected some to be flushed out.

Still the mm's remain short, sell 100k at 4.73p or buy 25k at 5.25p

L2 is 3 v 1 also.

Fortunate to get in initially at 2.75p.Topped up on Friday but was only able to get an additional 5k.Seemed hardly worth it but already in profit-lol!

Wonder what price Mr Mackie achieved for his holding. He was described as a 'loyal shareholder' 2 years ago...but a lot of water under the bridge since he left for pastures new.DYOR

Managed to pick some up this morning thanks to the 42k seller
which allowed the limits to open for a few seconds.

Max buy 2500 online, expected the price to be away and gone this
morning after that 5.5p buy so maybe fortunate to get some but
would have prefered 4p though !

No wonder i could not get size on the phone just now at anywhere
near 4.5p, 90k buy pays 5.5p, i was not kidding you all when i said
i got a silly quote for size earlier !

Those in are sitting pretty...well done !!!!

Am in at just 2.75p but a small holding. This is likely to be an opportunistic bid in a recovering share which fell under the radar,I reckon....BUT AS ALWAYS,DYOR

Thanks 8, hope my gut instinct is right. Nice to get into something without the influence of a ramper, which I've done in the past with some success but only after the price has risen a lot higher.Just hope it 10 bags to catch up with the original priice I paid for my first sortie!!

You've pulled a few aces out there bobby !

Not only have you spotted something viable about the take-over possibility,
you have took all the stock out of the market by buying size at a slight
premium and now you cant buy more than 5k online or 10k phone, lets just
say i was not quoted a fair price for 100k just now, it was silly and 10k
is simply not worth it either.

Remember they did put themselves up forsale a while ago, but with an absense of buyers they soldiered on. Could they be chucking in the towel again?

Look at this comment in Bruline Final Results in the chairmans statement 26/06/09:

Acquisitions
During the year the Group continued its strategy of making selective
acquisitions utilising the skills and technologies within the Group, so as to
enter new markets where there is an opportunity to establish market leading
products and services.

In October 2008, the Group announced that it had purchased the entire share
capital of Edensure Limited ('Edensure'), a company which provides intelligent
forecourt solutions for the petrol forecourt market. The Board believes that
this acquisition is a good strategic fit and the Group's data management
capabilities will provide Edensure with the platform to grow in this adjacent
market.

In December 2008, the Group announced that it had purchased the entire share
capital of Vianet Limited ('Vianet') from the Administrators of Vianet plc.
Vianet provides market leading telemetry and data capture solutions to the
vending industry and M2M telemetry solutions in a growing market sector.

The Board believes that the acquisition of Vianet will provide the Group with
the strategic entry into the vending market it has been seeking for some time
whilst creating technical and operational synergies with its recently acquired
subsidiary, Coin Metrics.

Me thinks there s more acquisitions to come.
