Spud - Not quite at your confidence level yet but it looks a good option at the current share price and I have more funds to apply if it confirms its ability to grow. The main criterion will be confirmation that the managements targets continue to be achieved - or exceeded.

I noted that the directors have bought before but in the case of the FD it has only been small beer ie a couple of £3k lumps and nothing more.

red army - The share was cheap in the first place but with an unwarranted sell-off caused by nothing more than a 'cautious' update it is now very cheap. I thought a buying opportunity might come later as boredom set in but we appear to have it now so, like you, I have increased (doubled) my holding which is showing as a sell. The interesting 'Wexboy' link helped me make up my mind. I normally expect mm's to keep a fairly level book in UNG and re-working the probable by/sell attributions (e.g. all the later 5.1p+ transactions are known to be 'buys') that is what it comes out to. It will be interesting to see if we now get any director purchases.

I often wonder who writes these things. I would only say that they have historically been cautious in their announcements and then over achieved. I guess if they said things in the first half were better than expected they think Mr Market may get ahead of itself when they still have a lot to do for a good year. For now I back the Chairman as the new CEO is not yet blooded.

IS, If that's true I wonder why they put eyeore in charge of writing the RNS. The tone & content of the RNS reminded me of the last but one XAR trading update, where they basically said things were going OK'ish but left scope in the more recent update to say that things were in fact going much worse than that... ...and that they were now ex-growth. All IMHO, DYOR. Cheers, Martin

If this drops much lower then a good time to add IMHO as the market cap hovers around £10m with the prospects of £2m profit. They are clearly going to offer a tough statement for the first half and then hopefully seal those orders for the second half. Could this be an attractive company to buy???

Wexboy has a good write-up of these (today) prior to the Statement. He makes the point that revenues were expected to fall because Project work was unlikely to stack up to last years. And yet revenues are in line with last year. Does that make us ahead of expectations? Would be good to hear what is said at the AGM if anyone is going?

You are not alone Hezza - I picked up my first position this morning too easily and it shows as a sell. There is someone offloading. Perhaps I am too late to join the party, but on my figures there is still 50% upside from current p/e of 11. Didn't Finncap up their target from 10p to 12p? AGM 24th June 2014.

Agreed. My share monitor is now in the default 'Off' position. I gave up years ago attempting to understand price movements between May & November. spud

If I read the rns correctly downing Llp bought another 325k shares on 22 may too So the fall does seem odd
