It looks as though on very light volumes mind that UOG [Colter] have now been marked down by the MMs in sympathy with all the various Wick plays!

This is clearly madness as the COS is almost 2/3rds at Colter where as it was not far off 1/3rd at Wick

Colter is not so much about finding oil [already been found] but much more about how much and is it commercial?

Sorry to hear the news on Wick soulsauce but to be fair there is a massive difference between Wick and Colter

Yes let's hope Ensco72 has more luck at Colter and drills a bit faster than they have done at Wick.

"the ENSCO-72 jack-up rig will subsequently be mobilised from the Moray Firth to the English Channel to drill the Colter prospect."

Joined the party, not going to start carping honestly. Had been avoiding over expanding my E and P portfolio but having made the effort to study the company operational info and moreover to check the cash and expenditure position something really stood out.

A very rare and parsimonious attitude to compensation and emoluments. A positive indicator.

In for a modest holding.

I don't follow it, but AFAIAA ECO hasn't found anything, yet its share price has responded a lot to potential ...

Maybe having big lumps on seismic in the West Indies is following too close behind BPC though

Agreed but I think the market looks for something more tangible these days rather than potential hence I don't know if the Jamaica cpr data is what is exciting people. Don't get me wrong, I think it will be unbelievable if BL's enthusiasm is anything to go by. We know Colibri alone has 200mmboe potential and that there are 15-20 further targets with equal resource. Like I said, so much going on here which is why I am happy to be in on the ground floor. First purchase was around 3p and have been averaging up all the way into the late 5s but made sure I loaded up in the 4s more recently. Exciting times!

Could also be positioning for Jamaica seismic and cpr or crown cpr and possible farm out or developments on the look and like prospects in Italy or re-drill of waddock x in Dorset.

So much on the cards, many of which could have us at 10p in a heartbeat.

Great stuff today and long overdue given the risked NPV alone. I look forward to Colter next but will, of course, be holding here long term, and have a fair whack of my SIPP invested for that horizon. Are we potentially seeing the market taking a position for both Colter but perhaps more so the 'transformational' deal that Brian has talked about for a while? We all know, after a great deal of DD, that he and James pulled out of the last one after going deeper. With Graham Martin on board, absolutely anything is possible!

Good to see the rise continuing and buyers once again having to stump up 5p for the privilege and it will be a privilege.

Their most recent presentation (December 2018 - p9) ties in with PVE's and states early 2020 production. No difference there.
