Things I took away from this presentation, which as previously noted was a development of previous ones in terms of content:

Company
"No company breakers, but many potential company makers" = build a solid low risk platform from which to underpin stakes in wildcat exploration areas. They have assets in each phase of the oil cycle - exploration, appraisal, development, production

"No exit plan" - intent to build a mid size oil and gas company as soon as possible. Not really looking for any more licences but seeking the transformational deal to move them to the next level

"Sniper, not shotgun approach to assets" = looking to acquire stakes in areas that they knew well from Tullow, i.e. where they had personal experience and contacts

"Funded for activities for the next 18 months"

"G&A = 750k/year". currency not specified

Assets
Waddock Cross - seismic shows crest away from previous wells, well by end of Q1 2019, lots of oil in place, modelling on 200 bopd (not stated, but presumably gross, and UOG has 26%)

Crown - won licence in 30th Round, but it was competitive, i.e. they beat other applicants to it. Currently 95%, looking to farm down, already interest, but may wait til after seismic reprocessing which is being started and seeks to reduce range of uncertainty, cos they may get more value as a result.

Jamaica - Colibri is clearest target - known before 3D but looks better now, Close to source, and therefore most likely to derisk / prove up play concept. Estimated at 200 MMbbl, but by no means largest structure - they have identified 15 to 20 structure of 200-500 MMbbl size. Tullow been there for 5 years, good rapport with national oil company. Partnership looking to farm out prior to well before the end of 2019.

Selva - they say production before the end of 2019. [Partner says mid 2020, probably more likely given Italian speed, but that's just my thought]. Will deliver cash flow of $2.5MM per month NET to UOG !

Hope that helps

Good watch and these are valued at just £18m fully cashed up for 18months and with the Crown farm out advanced and with super wildcat Jamaica in the back pocket. Go figure.

No new information really, just a good overview of the company, it's assets and strategy. Brian continues to allude to these "transformational deals" that will take the company closer to being a Mid-tier oiler.

Either way good to hear from these guys as usual and I'm sure we'll get some big news in the next month or so.

living resources it supports, or on any protected habitats or species or other users of the sea.
Recommendation
BEIS OPRED is content that there are no valid grounds for objecting to the proposals and
agrees to the issue of the necessary consent by the Oil and Gas Authority (OGA). This
agreement is not subject to the inclusion of any specific environmental conditions in the OGA

Would have thought that the presentation would be on the UOG website, but they haven't chosen to add that, or the September presentation they did either.

Wonder if he went for the hat-trick of references to "if Carlsberg did seismic..." ;-)
